Dancing Bears Gifts

This company is horrible! They absolutely do not stand by their products, I ordered a pillow from their website and when it arrived it was damaged and very cheaply constructed. When I called for a refund they wanted me to send the pillow back and pay for the shipping upfront! not even an apology or anything. I will NEVER do business with this lame company….

I would like to give no stars to this business but Unilocal does not give me that option. Going into Christmas I ended up in the hospital and it was pretty touch and go for a bit as my body was not responding to the medication I was being given. My daughter, in an attempt to give me the one thing I really wanted for Christmas went to my Amazon wish list to find that ever so desired item her mom wanted. She found that item to be a Jim Shore Woodlands Christmas Angel that was being sold by Dancing Bears Gifts. Once she realized the Amazon seller was local to her home she contacted the store to make arrangements to purchase the angel for me. The person at the store promised that it would be held for my daughter but in the end even with the promise that it was held for her the store sold it. It was the last one available anywhere in the area. From my hospital bed I read my daughter’s sad post on Facebook about her disappointment and of how betrayed she felt by this store… especially at Christmas time when the store had been told the gift was for me and that I was hospitalized. Now, I am out of the hospital but could hear the pain in my daughters voice on Christmas Day when she handed me a gift and said that she was sorry that it was not the angel I had so wanted but another Jim Shore angel she had purchased from another store. She told me the story of what this store had done to her and it broke my heart. She had tried so hard and was even willing to drive to the store to pick it up so she would be sure to get it only to find the store had just up and sold what she had been promised they would hold for her. I find this stores actions absolutely unthinkable. How do you sell something that you already promised to someone else?

This online store is superb. The owner is willing to help you to find anything to make your home warm and cozy. The items offered are heartwarming and sure to capture everyone’s heart.

Tapestries, throw blankets, christmas stockings for pets… not what you would expect from a store owned and operated by a man who rides a Harley back and forth to work. But this is not your normal every day home décor store. Yes it has every tapestry imaginable from politcal and hollywood themed, to Thomas Kincade and Boyds Bears. Gary, the owner, also sells the more manly side stuff also. He carries military and patriotic blankets and tapestries, Harley Davidson tapestries, Sports blankets, and so much more. You could look through there for days without getting half through. On top of that Gary is great at helping you with gifts. I gave him a «theme» — he found a bag and blanket within that theme for a gift. Emailed the price to me, bought it and was in his store in just 2 days. Give him a try, you won’t be sorry.
