Bowl America Bull Run

Very crowded. There was 4 of us bowling and we had to rotate seats everything time one us bowled. There must have been like 7 birthday party’s happening at the same time. All you could see or hear was little kids. You couldn’t concentrate, I mean it was like a convention of little kids.

Nice place. Nice food. Nice people. This place looks a bit old.

Great deal here for bowling after 9 pm. $ 11 and change for the bowling shoes and unlimited games until closing which was around 12:30 am. I think this was only during weeknights. The food here was decent for fast food concessions. Mozzarella sticks, nachos, pizzas, etc. They had beer and alcohol as well.
Great place to spend for a group outing.
The lanes were computerized and kept score for you.
Decent sized parking lot and tons of hotels nearby.

Kids loved it, but it’s crazy expensive — 3 games + shoe rental = $ 68 for our group of 3! + food = $ 89 for… BOWLING…
Food choices seemed good enough, but I got food poisoning and spent the entire night in the bathroom from a BLT. The kids had chicken nuggets and pizza and weren’t affected.
Went on a Monday which was also league night. Lots of regulars that were a bit «salty», they were nice enough to put us far away, but the leagues are right next to the food counters… so I recommend not going on league nights.
We have had 2 kids parties here in the past and everything was great and fun… but we probably won’t go back unless we have some free bowling passes and don’t order food.

I love bowling. I love bowling more in dresses and tuxes. So that’s what we did. We came in on a busy Friday and managed to get a lane. The man at the counter looks like every man at every bowling counter ever, and there’s a big sign next to him: non smoking as of October 1, 2009. As a former smoker I can tell you, the smell of smoke is gone.
Anyway, good prices ($ 36 for 3 games and shoes for one), cosmic bowling on Saturdays, and right off the highway. Can’t be beat!

Fun to go bowling here! prices are decent.

While visiting my sister and her family in Bristow this weekend, I took my 5 year old nephew bowling. He’s bowled before with his uncle, so he definitely has the concept of the game down.
There appeared to be birthday parties going on, but there were many open lanes available. We played 3 games, and munched on french fries and drank coke in between turns. Thank goodness for bumper lanes!!! My highest score was 122! :) My nephew, of course, did the old fashion roll the ball between your legs. He scored a 55… not too shabby.
For 3 games + shoe rental the price came to $ 21. For some reason I was expecting it to be cheaper. I would come back here, especially since the alley isn’t as smokey as I anticipated.
