Maxfields

If you want to be poorly treated by a pretentious sales staff, then this is the place for you. If that is not what you are looking for, then I would suggest trying skipping this place. I know a lot of people are impressed by the brands they carry, but you can find Chanel and Hermes at many other places.

Thank you to the staff for finding me a perfect present for my besties birthday. Maxfields is the very best.

Gorgeous gorgeous place. Open concept, designer heaven — with pieces from Chanel to Celine to Hermes… oh my… Where else can you find a Chanel jacket on sale? (for 3000, yes, a «steal»!)
I love coming here to peruse, but have never bought. Maybe one day when I win the lottery.

The Malibu Maxfields is like the little baby brother to the Hollywood Maxfields.
The building itself is gorgeous– the clothes too… but YIKES — the most «affordable» piece in here might be a t-​shirt, which is not «affordable» at all since it’s by the ROW and cost ummm I don’t know, I don’t even look at the price tags anymore. but guessing over $ 250 — for a T-​SHIRT!!! I mean…
Anyway, check it out, oooh and ahhh… then hope on over to Ron Herman, Madison or the likes where you can actually purchase a piece of clothing for less than the rent of a 2 bedroom apartment in Weho.
(and thus my point is made… if you «rent» an «apartment» anywhere in LA… you probably can’t afford much at Maxfields)
