This is my favorite coffee and bubble tea shop, I come here all the time! The drinks are always awesome and I would recommend the lychee slushie with lychee jelly. They have board games, a clean bathroom, pastries, sushi, lunch, and breakfast foods. Having tried quite a few of the items, the sushi is cheap but also really good! The manager is very friendly as well and so are the workers. I come here over all of the other bubble tea places in Malden and find that it is best here.

Bubble tea, coffee and breakfast sandwiches are great!!! I really like my coffee strong so that’s a plus for me. For those who like weaker coffee, maybe advertise that as an option. I love the homemade breakfast sandwiches on REAL English muffins, not like the ones dunkin donuts serve. Really convenient for me as I walk by this on my way to work. The one draw back for me is the timeliness from when the order is placed to when I receive my food. Sometimes I’m in an out in 5 – 7 minutes if I order my breakfast sandwich (when the owner does it, it’s great), other times I’ve waited 15 – 20 minutes which doesn’t really work with my trying to get to work :(

This is not just a bubble tea place; they’ve got tea with no bubbles, coffee, and food. Now I’m no milk tea expert, but this is awesome! I call the green milk tea «spa tea» because it’s so nice and floral — it’s fresh-​brewed tea, condensed milk, honey, milk, pure deliciousness. This is a lovely little place to sit and relax. It’s more of a hometown coffeehouse vibe, but with bubble tea on the menu. I’m looking forward to returning to this gem in Malden! Next time we’ll try the coffee and the breakfast sandwiches.

Before I gave them 4 stars because there was no soap in the bathroom. Since then, they have added a refillable container of soap. Personally, I still have a pet peeve with refillable soap containers instead of soap dispensers at public places but I’m willing to let it slide lol I still enjoy coming here.

Got a small black milk tea with boba and a cinnamon roll. Both were excellent and the owner was very pleasant. Highly recommend. Will be going back to try their espresso drinks.

Excellent bubble tea! Great cup of coffee. Super friendly service and a clean café. Parking isn’t the best in that area but there are a couple 15 Min spots out front in case you just want to run in and grab a coffee to-​go. Thanks Unilocal for helping me find this place.

Definitely my new coffee/​drink spot!
First off, the place is really clean and has some nice décor. It’s pretty small but it gives it a cozy feeling. They have some board games to keep you entertained as well.
The employees here are extremely friendly and passionate at what they do. I ordered a caramel macchiato and it contained their own roasted coffee. It was by far the best macchiato I’ve tasted. Everything had a good balance so it didn’t give it a bitter taste. I will be coming back often!

This place is excellent! We’ve been here to play board games and to do work. Either way, you can hang out for several hours. The owner is genuinely very friendly and makes all customers feel welcome. Drinks are great– we especially dig the cold brew. I’ve had the mango smoothie and Cha Shu milk tea as well (both delicious,) and my partner loved his ginger milk tea. My only suggestion is that I wish the air conditioning weren’t so strong– bring a sweater if you tend to be cold like me. But overall, a lovely place to hang!

Extremely nice owner, good amount of seating & pleasant atmosphere. I feel bad for not rating them higher because I really want them to do well, I just wasn’t a fan of the muffin I ate (too sweet and dense; tastes Costco-​ish rather than homemade like it is). I also wasn’t very pleased with the coffee; just too strong for me. And I probably should’ve asked to put the sugar & cream in myself (I like it pretty creamy). But with a couple adjustments, I think this place could be really great.

Great place. Beautiful. The staff really nice. And the owner receive us with a smile. I try the slushies matcha and matcha mango. Both amazing. My boyfriend tried caramel macchiato, hazelnut expreso and a hot Italian panini and he loved it.
The place is nice to seat with friends and relax. They also have board games for fun.

Remodeling job came out GREAT and the drinks are delicious. Their mocha-​frappucino drink is even better than that other over-​priced chain. Happy to support small business, but this one especially. Good people and good quality.

Cha shu is a great local stop, the new owner has really done a lot of work. The inside is nice and clean and the staff is great. They have recently expanded their menu, although I have only ever had a breakfast sandwich from there. But now they have a lot of lunch options which I want to go back and try. I don’t think coffee so I don’t know how their coffee is but both their regular teas and milk teas are very good!

Clean and the staff is very very nice. The tea selections are great. The food and selection of food is bad. Its almost like honey dew donuts signs and breakfast selections minus the actual doughnuts. One thing they do have are these pre bought wheat breads… the green tea one is so good. The young man working there went out of his way for me to get me the green tea one I wanted. :) I appreciated that.
The prices are the biggest problem here. Just way too high. 2 small bubble teas with no bubble (don’t like them) and 2 wheat buns ran me 12.00! This isn’t Boston, prices need to come way down. I personally won’t return until the prices reflect what your actually getting.
Too bad, fix the prices offer better quality baked goods and you’ll be a winner Cha Shu.

Nice bubble tea! The taro milk tea and the coconut milk tea are fabulous! The new owner is welcoming and Cha Shu now offers sushi. They have a variety of baked goods, and the board games they offer are definitely a good way for people to spend their time with their friends.

Found this place on Unilocal and brought my best friend. Guy behind the counter was a sweetheart! He made a mix and match flavor for my friend. Strawberry and lychee and it came out great! My lychee bubble tea was made to perfection as well. I recommend!

Came on a late Saturday afternoon running errands, thought I’d stop by to give this place a try since hearing another bubble tea shop had opened in Malden. On street parking wasn’t easily available, but there was ample parking on the street, so it was ok.
Ordered a matcha milk tea and my boyfriend had the coconut milk tea and we were both very satisfied with our drinks. Sweet and flavorful, just wished there were more boba!

Wonderful service. I sometimes ask for recommendations and never have I been disappointed. The owner is super sweet and friendly.
Today I ordered a hot milk green tea with bo ba. It’s really good and not too hot.
The interior design is calming. It’s really red but the red doesn’t overwhelm you. Also board games are provided for fun and tables and chairs for chatting. Cute, warm and cozy.

Great spot for breakfast grab n go. Green tea bubba tea was really good. They also have Chinese Bakery. You don’t need to go to Chinatown and you can get egg tarts!
