In the last few days noticed they are closed. Went to their website and it says they are Permanently Closed. It is a shame! Great restaurant.

We went in for a late lunch today and were less than impressed. There didn’t seem to be any other patrons, yet the service was a bit slow. The menus were an interesting«flip» design on plastic clipboards, and were unwieldy. We had the shrimp scampi, which came overcooked in a stained bowl. Also, 5 burned shrimp for $ 11 did not seem ideal. We ordered a child’s pizza(absolutely tiny) and a large pizza for ourselves. The pizza dough was under cooked, surprising because of the burned toppings(artichoke hearts had only the flavor of carbon). The capicola was salty and lacked any flavor, and seems like nothing more than cheap ham. We had a side of fries that were unimpressive at best. The décor was uneven — the plates didn’t really seem to go together. We were surprised that what we thought were appetizer plates turned out to be what we were expected to eat pizza from. Our bread came in a wire basket, our appetizer in a stained«country style» gravy boat, and our plates were bright white and had modern curves. The restaurant seemed in need of repair, the floors were extremely uneven and our booth seats were dirty and worn. Tables were propped up on wadded napkins, presumably to repair wobbles. When we left we bought a cookie at the hostess desk. It was mostly flavorless and crumbled when touched, creating a mess. In the end our meal was $ 60. There are at least 5 other restaurants we know of in a 15 minute radius that have better food, atmosphere and service.

Amazing food, great people! Very family oriented — the basement floor is designed and laid out for family with kids. They have a small play area, toys, and a big tv. Kids can roam around and you don’t have to worry about bothering other families. Did I mention the food is awesome?

Me and wife’s first visit here. It was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is very nice and open. Our salads were excellent. I had the chicken Marsala. Delicious meal. My wife had the Mediterranean pasta which was also delicious. The top it all off we shared the tiramisu, yum! I highly recommend this place.

We have been looking and looking for a good Italian restaurant and Deyos was about a 30 minute drive but I have to tell you it was well worth it. We started with a bruschetta appetizer that looked like a TV chef had prepared it. Not only did it look good it tasted good. We loved it!!! They also served fresh Italian bread with butter in olive oil and the bread was perfect. My wife ordered spaghetti and meatballs with marinara sauce and I ordered the lasagna. My lasagna was one of the best I have ever had, bar none. A generous serving topped with red sauce full of ricotta cheese and a layer of meats that were to die for. My wife told me this afterward. When she saw the large order of spaghetti topped with 3 big meat balls she thought she made a mistake. She often orders this but usually takes a bite of the meatball then goes on to eat the spaghetti. This time when she took one bite of the meatball she told me «Try this», I did and it was really good. This time she took most of the pasta home and enjoyed the delicious home made meatballs. We give Deyos a thumbs up and will be going there for lunch next week. We can’t wait to try the fettuccine alfredo and the chicken piccata, Last but not least was the service was excellent. Our waitress, Jennifer, was very attentive and the manager also talked to us and made recommendations. We are so pleased with the first two dishes and appetizer that this would be enough to bring us back again and again. I am pretty sure this place knows Italian.

We keep going back to this place and I have to say they have really stepped up their game. The staff knows the menu much better and always offer to us their knowledge. My biggest complaint at this point is the décor needs a bit if work. Too many white walls… Other than that go give them a try.

An Italian restaurant was just what Maineville needed! We loved the food and the service… and we will be back again and again!

They were able to cater for 80 people with only 1.5 hours head notice. They delivered and set up AND the food was amazing! Mr. Deyo’s, the General Manager, Narnia and the rest of the staff are a class act for sure. I could never thank them enough so I’m posting it here for all to see.

My wife, daughter, and I ventured up the road a few weeks ago to enjoy a casual dinner. Overall our experience was very good. The place was not very busy but we went at an off time(when you have a 1 year old, you eat dinner when it fits in the nap schedule). The waitress was very friendly, although my daughter wasn’t too fond of her right away. Service was prompt and the food actually tasted really good. My wife ordered the chicken parmesan and I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. Both were fresh and perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed a lemon desert that was very good as well. The décor is beautifully modern and the overall setup is very nice. This building used to be an automotive place or something(I can’t remember) but in any case, the owners definitely turned this place into a contemporary gem. The only thing that is confusing is the location, you would expect a place like this to be in a busier area(Deerfield for example) but I’m not complaining since this current location is close to home. We will be back. It is sad to see such bad reviews, hopefully things get worked out soon.

We are so disappointed. We have been here at least 7 or 8 times. The first time we were so impressed with the children’s area downstairs because we have 2 small kids. It’s so amazing to go to have dinner somewhere where they can play and we can eat! The food was nothing more than ok — dry chicken, sticky noodles. And service was ok. The servers are very busy and have to go up and down stairs so they are doing their best and that’s ok! We don’t mind to wait and are never in a hurry. They are always very nice and the hostesses are too. General impression was the food is overpriced. It’s just not up to par. But we knew we would be back because we love the kid area! Fast forward to today– it’s Friday night, the place isn’t nearly as busy as it used to be. Apps, drinks and food came fast– chicken is still dry… The downstairs is hot and musty. The little bit of ice that came I. My glass melted immediately. The French bread that usually comes with the olive oil to dip only came with butter. Cutting corners I guess? Lots of burnt out lightbulbs. Maybe the sub par food and high prices are catching up to them. But of course– we will be back. We love the kid room! The kids have an amazing time every time. I just wish we had the same experience they did. I did real a review where the mgr was going to give a discount to a family but they had already cashed out. The mgr solution was to give them an $ 8 gift card. That is so insane. I would never come back — at that point offer a normal giftcard. That was a poor management decision.

What innovators. There is something to be said for being willing to go against what is normal. This is one of the most fascinating restaurants I have been to. The experience is different on each floor, yet it is cohesive. I love the hip, modern feel. The designer definitely had a clear vision. It has a clean and classy vibe, but the menu prices are where they should be. I’m not sure what some of the self proclaimed«food critiques» are thinking. Tonight’s seafood special was amazing, and it seemed to be selling left and right. The wine list is extensive and the service has been fabulous when I am there. I consider myself a regular, and I see bright things for this restaurant.

This is a difficult review to give. It’s because this place is confusing to me. Both my wife and I without conferring with each other came up with the same word… odd. The exterior of the building is beautiful. But it looks more like an office, night club or maybe a higher end day spa. The interior is also beautiful and it seems the owners spared no expense in creating their vision. But again, remove the tables and you wouldn’t think it was a restaurant. They have a mezzanine and a basement where you can dine and we felt sorry for the servers humping up and down those stairs all night. They also have a patio which looked inviting but another oddity was the corn hole games set up out there like a sports bar. The cuisine is Italian but nothing but the menu says it’s an Italian restaurant. We received Italian bread at the table that was described as ciabatta bread but it wasnt. But it was fresh and warm. The odd part was the dollop of butter in the middle of poorly seasoned olive oil. I ordered the chicken marsala and my wife ordered the chicken parm. My chicken and pasta were cooked perfectly. However the marsala sauce was very thin and low on the rich flavor you would expect. Being served over pasta it gave the impression of ramen noodles. With that being said, it wasn’t bad. It was good just not a dish I will crave for again. My wife’s chicken parm was much better. The marinara sauce was good and the pasta and chicken were cooked perfectly. It lacked some flavor in the breading but overall a good dish. Deyos seems to me to be about 65% of where they need to be and I am sure where the owners aspire to be. So, the bottom line for us is that we enjoyed ourselves, the service was friendly, the place was ultra clean and the food was good enough that we will go back and try other dishes until we find a favorite. I would encourage you to try the place, support it and give the owners your feedback so they can keep improving on a very good start!

Want a restaurant that seems completely out of place for the town where it’s located? Deyo’s Italian Bistro is it. Off the main road in Maineville, which isn’t exactly a modern area, Deyo’s is a contemporary, fresh, and completely atypical restaurant for the town. We popped in on a Friday evening, not sure of what to expect since they renovated an oil and lube joint. But having eyed the menu online and heard positive reviews from a friend, we decided to break out of our usual wings and beer rut. The parking lot was absolutely jammed, but there are plenty of spaces. Walking inside was something of a shock: everything is bright white, minimalistic, and modern. There’s seating on the main floor, a loft dining area, and an outside section complete with a cornhole court. The servers and hostesses were all very young, many look like high schoolers, but they were all very pleasant and efficient. The menu has a hefty list of wines, a good number of your standard beers, and the usual coffee, tea, iced tea, and Pepsi products. Prices were a bit higher than I expected especially for the area. Appetizers ranged between $ 8 and $ 13, with entrees between $ 11 and $ 23. Of course, the best way to evaluate an Italian restaurant is their bread basket, right? Oh. My. Goodness! Almost everything is made fresh in the back, from the bread to the butter! Delicious, soft bread came with a generous scoop of butter topped with garlic, herbs, and olive oil. Very decadent! We split a bruschetta appetizer, which was a crispy flavorful twist on the usual slab of bread with Italian salsa. The had a generous drizzle of balsamic glaze over top the thinly sliced toast with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and pesto. The Mediterranean pasta, which we also shared, was chock-full of artichokes, mushrooms, kalamata olives, fire roasted tomatoes, and fresh spinach. The flavors were extremely impressive, and I was even more amazed when I found out how much was made in house. The dessert list, which we didn’t hit, was surprisingly varied, from local gourmet cupcakes to lemon basil gelato to the usual tiramisu and date nut cake. Looks like Deyo’s has successfully brought an exciting new option to an area that really needed something more than chili and burgers to offer its residents. Four stars!

I made an account solely to write a review for Deyo, because the reviews on here just don’t do it justice. My mom had eaten there before and suggested we go there for my birthday dinner… But when I looked up reviews I was hesitant to try it, but I’m so glad I did. Deyo must have had a rough start, because in contrast to many of the other reviewers, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. The outdoor patio was the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the nice weather. I couldn’t have asked for a more attentive and sweet waitress. Our food came out quickly(all together) and it was all correct, hot, and delicious! I will most definitely be back!

We went on opening night. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but place was horrible in every aspect. We had a party of 10 and all our meals came out at different times, and my aunt and uncles meal never came. The owner stumbled over to the table, obviously drunk an didn’t offer an apology. But said we could wait another 30 mins and he could have the meal out. We had already been there 2 hours. He also told us to take it easy on them, it was their first week. News flash Mr Deyo, won’t be long and that car wash you«tried» to convert into a restaurant in middle of no where goes tits up. I can say this experience rates up in my top 5 worse restaurants. Won’t be back and I wil definitely spread the word. Cheers

I try to give most restaurants two chances, especially new businesses that are still working out the kinks. So this review is prefaced with the fact that I will try again for hopefully a better result. I had high hopes. Clearly too high. I decided to try it takeout first because they are pretty busy. Tried the eggplant and chicken parmesans and the tiramisu. The sauce was boring and seemed to drain a lot if water into the pasta. Just not any good. Not bad but simple in a bad way. The eggplant was unevenly cooked. A classic like chicken Parmesan was re-interpreted to a recipe that one might find in a 30 minute meals cookbook instead of just piloting through with a worthy meal. The desert was good enough. All this said it is still better than all of its neighbors. Putters is gross and that hot head burrito place isn’t worth the aluminum foil wrap.
