Pro Nails

Worst place. Been going for a couple of weeks now and I got a gel manicure. The first one lasted the 2 weeks and now this one lasted 4 days which is ridiculous. I called to see if I could get them fixed and the person on the phone was so rude and wanted me to pay for there mistakes. She also hung up on me twice. Will not be going back. This is not a way to treat your costumers.

Pro nails is a rip off. Owner mimi is rude and is only concerned about making money not making the customer happy. She charged me 10.00 to remove gel polish which i think is ridiculous given the fact that most of it was already chipped off. Poor business practice in my opinion. Will never go back there. There are many other nail salons in the area that are much better.

I had an appointment at 2 and they took me at 2:30. I was getting fills and it took over 2 hours!!! Lady even gave me an attitude after I gave her a 40% tip.

I only go here because it is close to my house and I usually only get something because I am with my friend. The place only had good service when I had Jocelyn and her sister, both who aren’t there anymore. They’re work was the only good quality everyone else is terrible. Mimi is the rudest and most disrespectful person I have met. I asked her to check if my polish was done, she stuck her finger in the nail said no left a mark on it and said she’d have to charge me to fix it. ARE YOU KIDDING. Never go here. This place is a gyp and everyone is talking about you in front of you. What a terrible environment.

Worst place ever. Went to get a shellac mani and a regular pedi and they confused me when I told them so. They didn’t know what I wanted until I clarified multiple times. I picked a color for my shellac nails and told them I wanted something similar on my feet to match. Instead, they used a perfect match shellac (meaning there was a color match in regular polish for my toes) instead of the shellac color I wanted. Turns out, it wasn’t even a perfect match and I have a different shade of blue on my toes compared to my nails. Never going back!!!

I’ve gone here several times, but will not be back. The most recent time I paid for a gel manicure that was chipping just five days later, verses the 2 – 3 weeks it should have lasted. This last time and two times before the manicurist knicked my cuticles badly in several spots (they were red, swollen and painful for several days after). She never so much as apologized even once. Plus she was snotty from the get-​go.

I’ve been going there on & off for over 10 years and the place is really bad. Rude, obnoxious, insulting staff. What a disgrace.

I have to agree with other reviews. This salon’s location is very convenient to where I live, but I won’t go there anymore. I’ve gone several times over the past couple of years, but I can’t take the nastiness anymore. Vinny, the owner has customers that he clearly likes, but if he doesn’t like you, he’s nasty and rude to you. The quality of the manicures was not bad, but I just can’t put up with the attitudes and nastiness. They’ve lost me as a customer.

Like one of the other reviewers, I too would give no stars if I was allowed to. They are very rude and a bit on the nasty side. I walked in, they said they were busy and to come back. I did. They made me sit there for what had to be 30 minutes without saying a word. I’m a busy, and I understand I didn’t have an appointment but damn, offer me a cup of coffee for my troubles and at least when I came back, start my service, say something. Nothing, not even an apology. Here’s one for you PRO Nails. You’re really far from PRO-​fessional. I walked out and will not be back, if this is how you do business, than kiss my… well kiss off! PRO Nails… No Pro. It’s a joke!

I wish you could give no stars, the service is horrible, they treat the customers so poorly its a wonder they’re in business. The owner Mimi and her husband Vinny are rude and obnoxious if you want an average, no frills manicure this is your place. Making an appointment is a joke they only look for the money not the customer and then you’re rushed so not worth it if you’re going for a treat for yourself go to a better nail salon and enjoy

I have been going here on and off for about 11 years. They have had good employees and bad. I am a firm believer that you need to be comfortable to have a good experience. I happen to be comfortable because I chat with everyone, address them by name, and they do the same in return. I am a stickler for a good manicure and nail services in general. Any time that I have had a service which is few and far between, and it has not been up to par, I have gone back, and it was fixed. FREE OF CHARGE. They want happy customers and they have one in me. I appreciate their services, and they are very accommodating. Give them a try if you have not already.

Before I continue this review, I must note that I am commenting ONLY on service and waxing. I’ve used this «salon» a few times a year for eyebrow waxing walk-​ins, simply because they’re cheap ($ 7) and it beats paying $ 20 at my regular salon & having to schedule an appt. Every time I go in, the place REEKS of chemicals. Since I don’t get my nails done, I’m not sure what this smell is, but I’m assuming it must be from nail products. They have incredibly poor ventilation (and all the technicians are wearing masks, which tells you something about the fumes). I never make an appt, and they usually take me in fairly quickly (under 10 minutes). Perhaps it was my fault, but I stopped in today around 1:40. I realize I went in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday. When I walked in, the smell was so bitter & chemical. I stood at the (unattended) desk until someone yelled out «Can I help you?» I had no idea who, since nobody was actually looking at me. I told her I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed. No response. I stood there for another 10 seconds, then sat down to wait. And wait. And… wait…25 minutes went by, and I was still waiting, and the fumes were disgusting. Mind you, 2 women came in, who must have been regulars, because they were greeted by the man up front who was also doing nails. I finally got up and walked out. I couldn’t stand to breathe in the fumes any longer or be ignored until they were ready for me. I’d rather spend more money elsewhere and be able to breathe & have the employees provide good customer service. I may not spend a lot, but I was also considering having my nails done today. They lost out. I’ll never go back.

If you are looking for a nice salon experience, do NOT go here.
The nails are cheap, they do fill ins and acrylic gels for the cheapest price around, but that comes at a price.
They do the bare minimum when they are doing your nails and are SO rude! The nails do last a long time though
I went here for over 2 years until I simply had enough. Once or twice I came in and they woudl yell at me, YELL at me because I came in too late for my nails and they have to redo them.
The on woman ripped off half of my nail when she was taking off teh previous tip, like not the top, the bottom part of my nail connected to my flesh… I had to come back another day to do that nail because it had to scab over since i now had a wound because of the woman

In my quest for a descent manicure, I came upon Pro Nails while going to the supermarket. I have finally gotten a GOOD manicure from a persn who actually cares what the end result will be. I walked in, was greeted immediately, told to pick out my color, within minutes I was getting a manicure from Neela. She did a fabulous job on my cuticles (a pet peeve of mine) as well as the over all manicure. I will be coming back!
