Absolutely the best salon in the area hands down! Fantastic stylists and I should know I’m there twice a week to have my hair styled! Once you find a good salon you never go anywhere else and it doesn’t matter which stylist you choose they will send you out looking fabulous! Customer service second to none!

I had gone to a different salon after moving away from this area and after having Aimee ‘s color skills most others fall flat. Came all the way back today and it was So worth it… color turned out beautifully as usual. Aimee rarely disappoints from what I have seen, she is amazing with color.

I have been twice for a pretty simple cut and both times they messed up. My visit yesterday was pretty bad. I waited for about 10 minutes up front. Then a girl brought me back to wash my hair. It was the longest washing I ever had. It was nice but way overdone. She left the shampoo and conditioner in my hair so long my head was really cold by the time she decided to rinse them out. I could tell she was just buying time for my girl to get done. I finally got in the seat. All I wanted was a trim to ditch my dead ends, some layers and tapered in front. The time she spent on actually cutting my hair was shorter than my wash. I got home to discover I still have a lot of split ends and the taper in the front doesn’t even go down the length of my hair on one side. And I paid $ 45 for that!!!

The experience was absolutely as good as it gets. The owner knows what she is doing!!! The salon interior and equipment was very upbeat. The cosmetologist I had was Aimee. I had several compliments on my hair before I got out the door! It was a great experience and worth the 40 minute drive.

Horrible service…
First: my appt was at 11:30 and they didn’t even come get me till after 12. Then when I sit down she (Amanda) didn’t even make conversation with me. She was talking to the girl next to me the whole time. Then when she did make conversation with me she just seemed rude and like the picture I showed her was ugly or something. Then we go to rinse out my hair and she tones it. Then everyone comes over and says «what happened!?» When I can’t see my hair so I’m freaking out. Then she takes the toner out and tones it with something else. As I’m over there getting my hair washed some other random girl that works there comes over and drys her hands on the towel around my neck!!! Then another girl comes over and asks to see the picture I showed Amanda how I want my hair and they are whispering about it right behind me about it like I can’t hear them because I wanted to be white blonde apparently that’s a bad thing. Then Amanda rinses it and has it almost all the way dry (my hair takes forever to dry) then she says oh there’s still conditioner it it lets go back and wash it again. At that point it had already been 4 hours since I got there so I said no I’ll just go home like this. Then when I told the front desk I didn’t feel I should pay $ 103 for that service AND my hair did NOT come out anything like how I wanted it, they said sorry nothing we can do… I was irate and left a $ 0 tip. Don’t go there. Oh and not to mention they were talking crap about all their clients after they left.

I had a totally botched full color and highlight job — I thought I was SOL. On top of that, I had one day (between business trips) to fix it and on a Monday — which most salons in the area are not open or are appointment only. The receptionist at On Stage was nice and accommodating. My stylist, Jenna, was awesome. As a clueless client, she listened to what I wanted and came up with a plan to correct what I had going on and give me what I was looking for in the first place. I could not be happier with the result! And the pricing is a steal for the level of competence of stylist and atmosphere of the salon! Customer for life!

Just moved to the area and was nervous about getting my hair cut by someone new. I went to On Stage based on the reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. I was able to book a same day appointment on a Saturday — which was amazing. It was meant to be, I told myself if I couldn’t get an appointment I wasn’t going to get a hair cut. LOL I was greeted at the door immediately and everyone was so nice and made me feel welcome. Andy cut, washed and styled my hair and he did such a great job. I am so happy with the turn out, it looks AMAZING! This is my go to place now. Thank you Andy for doing such a great job! I’ll definitely be back soon!

First time here, Amanda did a great cut and highlights! I just moved to the area and was nervous to get my highlights done at a new place but they turned out great! I also had a eyebrow wax and tint and was pleased as well!

The salon is very clean and professional. I have long hair and came in to get a short haircut. Jenna did an amazing job even though I didn’t know what I wanted. I explained how I would like a change and she gave me exactly what I was looking for. Everyone here does a great job no matter who you have. I am going back to get a color as well. Definitely recommend this salon to anyone!!!

I never get my hair cut not trust anyone to cut my hair but I have seen multiple hair dressers and they are always friendly and super talented. Always happy when I leave the salon!

I’m new to the area, so I was nervous about picking a new stylist. My hair is thick, course and curly. I had Jesse as my stylist and she was very good! Very pleasant and my hair turned our great! I’m even going back for some color. She listened to what I wanted and didn’t want,… Thanks jessy!

I finally found my hair salon!!! I went today for the first time and really enjoyed the experience! I had Aimee cut and style my hair!‘she did great!!! She listened to want I needed and wanted!!! I will be coming back for her to cut my hair again! All of staff was friendly and the salon was very clean!!!

Can’t say enough great things about this place! Kristen is great! I had a very bad color from another salon and she helped to fix it. The salon is clean and everyone is friendly! Wish I had come here a lot sooner!

I’m a regular. The stylists are skillful and very nice. The place is clean, and the best is, their prices are very reasonable, partial high light and a hair cut — $ 98. I highly recommend this place. I was told they also just opened a new location on 1488 by the CVS. (Near the HEB).
Give them a try.

On Stage is a fantastic salon! You feel pampered from the moment you walk in the doors. My early morning appointment was greeted with coffee and friendly smiles. Stephanie Wilson is an amazing stylist. She has done my color for 6 months now and I receive the most compliments ever! Thank you for the great service, courteous staff and wonderful experience.

Pretty good place, but pretty expensive if you go with a senior stylist. I got highlights and a cut and the results were fine. The place was nice enough, but very hectic, especially considering it was a weekday morning. Lots of trainees running around, stylists working 2 – 3 clients at a time… I just like salons that are a bit more intimate and stylists that focus more on you.

Love love love On Stage. I have had nothing but great services and experiences here. Andy and Ali are the best. Andy is the first person to listen to me when asked to not use thinning sheers. He is great to talk to and always makes me look amazing. I absolutely will not go anywhere else!

Aimee was great. She listened to what I needed/​wanted and went to work. I have a LOT of hair, so it needs to be thinned out. She said if I need it thinned out more to just call and come on in. (I have an appt. for tomorrow to go and get some more thinned out. And after having the new cut for a day and playing around with it a bit, I think I will have it thinned and go a little shorter. Hopefully I don’t get charged for a whole new cut.) I like the vibe of the place too. I don’t get my hair cut often (usually 3 months or longer) and don’t like to spend too much on getting it cut either. On Stage is very reasonably priced. $ 30 for an Associate and it’s not like the Associates are all brand spanking new to cutting hair. A stylist can have a couple years or more of experience and still be an Associate, which puts me at ease knowing that they’ve been cutting hair for awhile. And even if they are a new Associate, I noticed there was an experience stylist standing right there watching and guiding them as needed. I will definitely be back, and might even get my hair cut more often. :)

Awesome from start to finish. Finding a salon and stylist that you can trust is hard. On stage has always been the best of the best! I thank the Hair Gods every time for providing me with such a wonderful salon! Andy is my stylist, but this is the kind of place that you can use anyone & walk out looking like a million bucks! Great customer service & excellent atmosphere. I recommend this salon constantly! Not just one but 2 big thumbs up from me!
