The hotel was very clean and nice. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The deck with rocking chairs added a nice touch. My only negative comments are about the so called hot tub. It was barely warm and none of the jets work. It’s basically just a much smaller version of the pool.

What a charming place to stay! The price was very fair, the room was comfortable and the view from the balcony was such a treat. We were serenaded by the babbling creek all night long(delightful!). And the service was helpful, informative and welcoming – couldn’t ask for more. We will definitely be back, and we would recommend this sweet little hotel without hesitation.

This was a nice place to stay. The rooms were clean and updated. Things I probably shouldn’t have noticed but did having been in the construction and property insurance for many years… the paint job in the room was excellent(cut in especially) and the bathroom tile grout lines weren’t a maze. The staff was kind and helpful. The room I had boasted nearly all the amenities of a larger scale hotel. I was on the first floor and the deck in the back had two rocking chairs that looked over a shallow and babbling creek. There was no shortage of nature, both plants and animals. I watched little squirrels bustling for food along the shore, cardinals, sparrows, and GIANT blue jays flitting through the foliage. I was in awe of the peacefulness of the surroundings since I live among the hustle and bustle of daily suburbia. The surrounding mountains were breathtaking. Oops… back to the hotel. They have a free breakfast of which I didn’t partake so I have no comment on that. The feature that drew me to this hotel was the fitness room. I had a heck of a time finding a hotel that wasn’t in a big city that had one. The worst part about it was all of the calling around for this and I forgot my gym shoes… really? SMH. Nevertheless, I would definitely stay here again and hope to soon. The only complaints I have that don’t really affect the rating are that I like baths and the stopper in the tub in my room didn’t work so I stuffed a washcloth around it. The lock on the sliding door didn’t work, but there was a bar in place. It kind of wigged me out being on the first floor, but the guy behind the desk reassured me that during the years he has been there that there has never been an incident. I was below a family that had small children and I could hear the constant running back and forth for much of the time. The walls are paper thin so don’t expect for people to walk and talk down the hall and not hear it clearly. Let me not forget to mention that there is an indoor swimming pool in the front of the hotel.

Wonderfully comfortable room that had a balcony with rocking chairs overlooking a creek. The breakfast was stellar, and had many options you don’t normally see in hotels. I was sad to go, and would definitely stay here again.

Good location for skiing. Reasonable price. The breakfast was better than expected with hot sausage and Belgian waffles.

Best place to stay in Maggie Valley. pulling up to the property looks like an average hotel however once you open your room door you’re like WOW… location to everything was within minutes… the bed was amazing. nice tv. roomy. beautiful bathroom. nice balcony. we actually didnt like the creek view and chose the street view. which worked out better for us as we were able to keep an eye on our car and see the weather in the morning. the balcony is great too furnished with chairs and a cute table. decent indoor pool and hot tub. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Maggie Valley… and the price was soo so cheap… best money i ever spent

The rooms were extremely clean and well-maintained for the value we got, and the staff were friendly. They seemed proud of being Maggie Valley residents and seemed to enjoy interacting with the many tourists they get. The jacuzzi was not functioning, but we stayed there on a Thursday night, went upstate for a wedding, then came back and stayed Saturday night… between the 2 nights, a replacement part for the jacuzzi had arrived and was waiting to be installed. So they appear to maintain the property well. Great value!

If I could I would give this place 3.5 stars but Unilocal doesn’t allow half stars when rating. I enjoyed staying in this quaint little ramada hotel. It’s nothing special, no fancy lobby or room but it’s cozy. The service desk workers are so sweet and accommodating and it’s located conveniently 3 minutes away from the ski area. There are two choices of room views, the first looking out to the road and the second looking out to the beautiful creek and trees. The creekside view was an amazing sight to see. Nature has a calming effect on a person and it def. had me relaxed. The pool and hot tub are very small and it’s located right next to the entrance of the lobby so everyone can see you as they check in… which is a little weird. The best part about this hotel though is it’s connection to the ski area. They have a package called the Drive, Dive and Stay which included 2 nights of hotel stay, $ 10 gas card, 2 full days of skiing/snowboarding plus rentals and free beginner and intermediate classes for only $ 144 per person. You have to book in pairs but either way, it’s completely worth it.

My friends and I stayed at the Ramada Limited with the Drive, Slide, and Stay package. It’s a $ 144 package deal that includes 2 nights at the hotel, 2 days of ski lift passes, 2 days of ski/snow board equipment rentals, $ 10 gas card, and free lessons for beginners. Totally worth the money! The only kind of difficult part to it is. you can only book the deal in pairs and on weekdays during the ski area’s non-holiday days. The hotel is nothing fancy. Pretty standard rooms and continental breakfast. Ask for the rooms with the Creekside view! It’s really pretty & relaxing to hear the flowing water. There’s a washer and dryer upstairs on the 2nd floor, which was convenient to dry off our damp clothes after snow boarding. All of the staff are extremely friendly! One lady on the night shift helped open the door for me, because she saw how sore I was coming back from the slopes. Their pool/hot tub photos on the website are a bit deceiving. The photos online make everything look a lot bigger than it actually is. The hot tub is extremely warm though and really helps to soothe the muscles after a day of busting my butt. The showers in the bathrooms also have an adjustable shower head and nice water pressure for more muscle soothing. The soap & shampoo also smell delicious! It’s sugared citrus! We kept asking for more bottles from the house keeping staff. Ramada is also less than 5 minutes away from the entrance of the ski area.
