Food Was decent, but not worth the price. Service was absolutely terrible… and SLOW.

Ordered a steak filet. Cooked fine with great flavor, but required the large Outback style knife that came with to disassemble. Baked potato was fine, but came with margarine not butter. Lost a star for that sin. No bread. Next time I will order the burger. Good place to eat if you are in Madisonville KY. The staff was great.

One of my favorite Madville spots. Try the beir-cheese chicken or the fish and chips – good stuff!

Visited the Crowded House on a Tuesday night when I was in town for business. I’ll go back for sure. Cold beer, friendly staff and good food. I ordered the house made hummus as an app. The chips were warm and the hummus was definitely NOT from a food service. It wasn’t blended super smooth like commercially made«Sabra». A couple of wide slices of red pepper were a nice edition. I ordered the pork«ribeye» as my entrée and it was juicy and tender. I asked for it to be cooked to order med rare. I don’t mind my pork a little pink. The bartender(I sat in the pub part of the place) was happy to accommodate m my request. The only issue I had with the entrée were the sides. I got the baked potato and a side of grilled asparagus. Both were cool. Not the temp you’d expect for a baker and grilled veggie. The bartender was quick to ask me how things were and to bring me fresh sides when I told him I wasn’t pleased. I was given a complimentary desert for my troubles. All and all… A great place.

I’m all about respecting me and what I taught, but these guys were killing the creativity of local artists. I heard this cowboy tell someone they couldn’t say anything«offensive» in their songs, and even when they complied he still kinda blew them off. This is in every negative way, a «family bar». Major bummer bro. The atmosphere feels kinda killjoy, like hanging out with Michael while he brags about fighting demons. If you’re a band that plays anything besides generic Christian rock or country, don’t play here. They won’t give you the time of day. What are you staying in this crap town for anyways? Come to Louisville and eat some Chinese with the J-man. Christ out.
