Ponderosa Steak House

Fairly good for a ponderosa. These restaurants are always bland but thats a given anyway. Its fairly clean and I love a good salad so its a good place to eat.

Tonight I ate at the Ponderosa Steak House. I ordered the 10oz. Ribeye steak with a baked potato and a salad. The steak was good and cooked the way I like it.
The salad was ok even though I asked for oil and vinegar and instead of bringing it to me they saw fit to put it on MY salad themselves. I ordered a fruit punch since I am not much for Pepsi products the mix was off and the drink was watery.
Now we come to the problem, the baked potato. They put butter on it even though I never asked for any, so I took it off and looked for my server bring me some sour cream.
I finally got his attention he brought me a small ramekin of sour cream that had cap on it that had been pre-​made at some point. Now I generally smell dairy products before I eat them but this time I didn’t, BIG mistake! the sour cream was spoiled! I spit it out and nearly lost what food I had eaten! my wife went and got the manager who apologized but made no move to reimburse us for the spoiled food.
I don’t know about anyone else but if they can’t see fit to at least offer up a coupon for serving spoiled food I’d say you might want to find somewhere else to eat.
