U.S. Bank

I hate this branch with a passion. I personally do not bank with US Bank because of the terrible service I receive here. I am forced to corporately use this bank and I dread going here.
I’m always so confused at the pretentious nature of the service. I feel like an incredible inconvenience every time I come here to get change or make deposits. They do not make it easy or seem they appreciate the corporate business. Currently the two tellers are whispering about me right in front of my face.
Real professional.

This is banking old school style. Everybody who works there knows my name, greets me by name, and gives me very personal service whenever I’m there. Just this week I was too sick to come in and sign something so one of the bankers came to my house to drop off paperwork and came back again later to pick it up again. I don’t know many businesses that make house calls anymore! And this was after he unilaterally proposed a new product to me that he thought I could benefit from. I’ve also been pleased how U.S. Bank has kept up with technology. They have decent online tools, a good mobile version of their site, and just started offering cool tools for remote check deposits. This has already saved me countless trips to the bank since I typically handle a lot of checks in my business. I don’t use cash so I’m not sure about their ATM fees, if any, but I love that they’re conveniently located near my house across from Hilldale & on the Square.

I’ve been with US Bank for two years and I’m really surprised that this is the first review of the Hilldale location. I only have a student checking account here so I guess my review should be limited.
I’ve been a member of several credit unions in Madison spanning a 16 year period and the customer service here has been by far the best.
The US bank iPhone app has been a life saver! Well, maybe not literally but it has been that good. I’ve always been treated with respect and genuine care. I once swore that I would never give a bank my business ever again, but I must say I’m very glad I did.
