Take Five Cocktails & Lounge

Who would’ve thought a movie theater could host such a cool little club-​like bar?
I joined a few friends here for a drink and a light bite. We went with the sole intention of having a cocktail and not seeing a movie. Most of the other patrons were either waiting for a movie to start, or had just seen a movie and were enjoying a final beverage in the lounge.
+ Cool space — perfectly lit, tons of seating, bar top is a backlit, opaque marble-​like surface
+ Huge movie screen shows recent flicks
— Volume of «background» movie is a bit loud, and they also play background music, so the two interfere with one another
+ Full bar: taps, bottles, wine, mixers
+ You can take your beverage into the theater with you, should you choose
— Very limited menu for food: a few basic appetizers (bruscetta, spinach dip, etc), a few salads, a few sandwiches, and pizza.
+ Pizza was decent; sauce slightly sweet but otherwise ok
+ Service was excellent. We sat at the bar and enjoyed top notch service from bartender, Nick.
— Parking is a bit of a pain, but that’s because it’s this movie theater.
I would definitely return on my own, and if I ever see a movie here in the future, I’ll definitely stop-​in for a visit.
