St Hubert’s Dog Training School

St Hubert’s Dog Training School is absolutely amazing. The reason why is because the faculty who works their is amazing, The dog instructors are very friendly and are very helpful. For example I needed to know what king of tick medicine i should give my puppy Golden Retriver. So I called the lady at 5pm on a week day and she told me what brand i should use and was quite helpful. And the training and obedience by dog learned was worth every penny.

Well I cannot put one star, so that’s a shame. This review is not about the dog training serivce, as I never got to that part. I read the reviews and was happy about the good feedback and decided to call about the one-​on-​one training services for a dog that recently started pooping on the bed. The receptionist picked up and I said I wanted the one-​on-​one for pooping in the bed. She then told me that I should get the training classes then put me on hold to get another call. When she came back I explained that I had already done the puppy training classes when I first got the dog but he’s JUST NOW pooping on the bed. She then said «oh so you’ve done the puppy classes already… so you know how to train a dog.»
So needless to say, I hung up the phone and will be looking for another place with a less bitchy and judgemental receptionist.

I found St. Huberts Dog Training School after rescuing my dog from Tenn. He was afraid of everything. would shiver in the back of his crate. First I had Liz & Vinny Catalano. Then I had Adrienne and Pia, Sarah and Gail. Everyone was great! Liz helped me turn a frightened, feral dog into a beloved pet… she also saved his life one saturday afternoon… I had kept bringing him back to the Vets office… they kept giving him medicines, but his head was tilting to the side and his gait was off… she gave him a quick wellness exam… said I had to get him to a Vet right away… when I told her my Vet already knew his symptoms… she got me to a new Vet who tested for anaplasmosis. My dog would have died if it had not been for Liz’s intervention. They also offered pet first aid courses and have a BFF conference that is wonderful/ (for dog owners). My dog loves having agility lessons with Carol. We don’t compete, we do it for fun! Dog Training should be FUN!

Starting our 2^nd class with our puppy. All in all a terrific experience with a hyper little dog. Claudia has been terrific and the stand in one week was exceptional as well. The place is clean and the teachers are thoughtful. P. S. no one judged us for not adopting.

After all of the good reviews I’ve heard about St. Huberts, I was disappointed I cannot report the same. Upon calling St. Hubberts to gather some information about their puppy training class, it was very dishearting and offensive that the front end staff would automatically assume because my dog was not a rescue, that it was from a puppy mill. The office staff was VERY rude, judgmental and unprofessional. As a potential customer this is the last thing I want to hear about a dog I care for and love. My puppy is in a better place now then it was in the pet shop and for this individual to make me feel bad about where I got my puppy is outrageous. My first impression of St. Hubberts is very negative. Not only did they lose a potential customer and I will make sure I tell others of the complete rudeness.

St. Hubert’s Dog Training School is a fantastic school for new or old dogs. I enrolled my 3 month old puppy in the Puppy Kindergarten class and the class exceeded my expectations.
The staff was incredibly patient and knowledgable and my puppy learned so much in 8 weeks in a safe, laid back environment.
I would recommend this school to anyone with a new puppy or an older dog who’d like to learn obedience, new tricks, or just to get socialized.

St Huberts is an outstanding dog school. Great facilities and superb instructors — start at puppy-​k and move up to basic then to advanced and BEYOND. Agility and competition training is even available, including lots of other fun classes such as ‘around town’ and even outdoors work.
Training your dog creates a more communicative environment for you and your pet — anyone with a dog has the responsibility to learn how to handle and work with their pet.
