Schlotzsky’s

Schlotzsky’s. I love their sandwiches, but I have to have low sodium choices their selection stinks. There only choices are all veggie choices. That’s fine if that is what you want, but not for every occasion. I love there chicken but had over 1,000mg of sodium on any given pizza or flathead and/​or sandwiches. That is why I have them 2 stars. Food excellent! Sodium friendly not at all. How can it be Heart Healthy and high sodium at the sametime, does not make since!!!

I really like the sandwiches and pizza’s at this place. The bread is fresh baked and I love the spongy yet crispy texture. No other restaurant has bread quite like this. I love all of their sandwiches and I love the fact that they offer them in 3 different sizes.
The pizzas are unusual, but very good. Not the biggest but they fill me up nicely. They wouldn’t compare to a typical Italian pizza restaurant but they are a nice change of pace.
New on the menu are pasta bowls. I was skeptical at first, but my first pasta bowl was quite tasty and I will try them again. Very filling and full of flavor. The menu stated that it had goat cheese but the server said it was actually Feta, which was fine with me because I don’t like goat cheese.
My biggest complaint is the building. It’s old and poorly maintained. Nothing hip or exciting about it; it reminds me of an old Sub shop. I remember Schlotzsky’s restaurants in other towns that had a much more interesting décor than this one.
Service is always quick but I suspect it’s because I’ve never seen this place busy before. If they suddenly had a line of 20 people, it would probably take a while.

Food was good and service was fine, but the restaurant does not look like it has been cleaned in a long time. Floors were very dirty. Bathrooms were dirty. Towel dispenser was falling off the wall. Tables and chairs had food on them. It was not busy while we were there.

Fast service, accurate order, very good sandwich. Dining area older, but clean. Good price. We’ll be back again.
Today we had the Chicken Bacon Smokecheezy.

Pretty good but not great. Menu seemed smaller than other locations. Cheese was minimal so ask for extra. Would go again.

A very average sandwich shop. I had the French dip sandwich, and it was overpowered by salt. I will probably not add this as a frequent lunch stop.

Not very clean inside or out. The Pizza was pure grease and salt. Stick with the sandwitch.

This is an average Schlotzsky’s Deli. It is missing some of the drinks like the AMAZING lemonade, but everything else is good. Just make sure when you say EXTRA that it is more that the average amount. Asked for extra thousand island on Reuben and when I got the sandwich could barely taste it.
