Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics

Lush is so awesome! It’s become my go-​to for face scrubs, lotion bars (!!!), and gifts. Some of the products are a little expensive, but I think the quality is absolutely worth it. The fact that everything is fresh and made with natural ingredients is amazing, and I use all of my purchases all of the time– it’s not like buying a lotion set at Bath and Body Works and never touching it again.

Really nice new location in the outdoor area of Hilldale. The products are really nice made with natural ingredients.
They have bath bombs, natural facial creams, washes, and lotions. Their fresh made masks are also really nice. They have handmade soaps, hair conditioner, and shampoo bars.
I can here for Christmas gifts and the staff was super helpful and friendly. They were able to answer all my questions with ease and confidence.

I had seen them on Instagram… googled and was ecstatic to see they were coming to Madison. I haven’t always cared for the staff following around and suggesting too many things etc… idk i just want to look around and smell and ask questions if I want to. Other than that such a great place! I don’t try much of the other products as I only go for bubble bath products… because they are awesome and worth the extra penny. I personally haven’t done this but have seen some people cut their bath bomb in half to extend use to two different baths rather than one. I will say the store is a little to eccentric for me at times… but the products and ingredients, magical bath bombs etc… are the BOMB. LOVE LUSH!

Love this place! The staff is awesome — so helpful and informative. I love the environment — very playful and good chance to interact with the product. My kids absolutely love the bath bombs, bath play dough and more.

I’ve loved Lush for 12+ years. Having one in my home city is a dream come true and the staff at Hilldale are FABULOUS and fun! Theyre helpful, genuine, and sweet. This place is my ultimate pick-​me-​up!

Since Lush opened in Hildale mall I have been there twice. Both times the staff were VERY friendly and helpful. The prices are little high and so I won’t be shopping there often. That being said, I love their products! The bath bombs are wonderful and worth the trip. i wish the shop was a bit bigger. It feels really tight in there is they are even a little busy.

Lush is everything! Their products are perfect. Once you get over the sometimes overly friendly the layout is easier than some other locations. I am so thankful that they are here and so close to my house! Love LUSH! You guys are fantastic.

Buuuut seriously.
If you love a company who really cares about its employees and the product they put it, give Lush a try. I’m a huge fan of their shampoo bars and face washes. I love that when you buy a product here, it has a sticker on it of who made your product and when. It really gives you a sense that someone put care and love into the product you are about to use. Not only that, they use REAL ingredients and not just a bunch of chemicals. I care about what I put in my body, but I also want to care about what I use to treat my skin and hair too.
The gals who work here are super friendly and really know their stuff. Wanna see how a bath bomb works? Just ask! Wanna try something out? There are samples EVERYWHERE.

I think that Lush is a generational thing, because my daughter and her friends go nuts for this place and their products. I myself find it completely overwhelming, from the overwhelmingly scented products, to the overwhelmingly helpful staff, to the overwhelmingly stuffed store, to their «shouty» bold black and white typography and signage. I generally find it overwhelming, full stop. On paper, it’s awesome, and I do enjoy the scent of one of their products, by itself and far away from the store… but would never buy it myself because all of their products are also quite pricey. So there you go, take a deep breath and venture in and see what you think.

There’s a lot to love about Lush. They have both great products and values. Their products are 100% vegetarian (80% are vegan), they don’t test on animals, and use less packaging (and/​or recycled and recyclable packaging).
If you’re curious about any of their products, just ask! They’re happy to demo them for you in store.
It’s pricey — that’s for sure — but you can usually buy small quantities, and items like their bars last a long time.

What a great store! Staff was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful in a fun way! My arm was shampooed for a demonstration which was fun. The more I learned about the products the more I wanted to explore the rest of the store. I am definitely looking forward to making it back in!

I’ve been a fan of Lush for many years & have been buying from them online. I was very excited to hear that they were opening a store in Madison, & their store is awesome.
The staff was super friendly, helpful, & knowledgable. If you are curious about anything, ask! I saw many demos while I was in the shop.
I’m a huge fan of their bubble bars, I highly recommend trying them. I find that dividing up the bars works well for using over several baths.
