This place sucks for mexican food! We went there last night and first of all they only had two servers the place was empty. The salsa is horrible they put toooo much salt it was too salty you couldnt even eat it. Then we ask for a cheese dip and it was okay just to watery. We order camarones rancheros the sauce on them had way tooo much flavor it was nasty i didnt even eat my food because it wasnt good at all. I will not be returning to this place ever!

Above average food but below average service. I imagine it gets worse when busy. I was the only table in the place. Will come back and hope for better service.

Terrible service! food was so-so. Never been before but went with 2 friends that assured me it was great. Apparently it is under either new ownership or management? We waited almost 15min before anyone even asked what we wanted to drink. When our waitress came over it was bad. I don’t know if she really honestly didn’t speak English or if she was playing a joke on us but it took almost 20min to get her to «understand» what we wanted then she pulled the menu back out and said«point» ?? We got our chips and dip after our dinner was brought to the table. The simple things we asked for were not done(no beans, no lettuce etc.) and there were no tortillas for anyone’s fajitas. When we asked the 2nd time we were brought corn tack shells? The food wasn’t terrible but not the best I’ve had. The service was absolutely the worst experience I’ve had in a very long time. won’t be back.

Tucked away in a world of the forgotten, Las Fiestas can make you full on a budget. The staff here are very prompt to make sure that you are seated upon entering. This place is huge. So, you have your choice of booths, tables, high tops/pub tables in the bar area and seating at the bar. The tables are always clean and organized before sitting. Lets chat food. You can always tell an authentic and smooth Mexican restaurant by the quality of the cheese sauce and guacamole. The cheese sauce is creamy goodness that is always piping hot and the guacamole is made fresh to order. I’ve had so many dishes here. But, my favorite is the Molcajete! What the jete is a Molcajete? A Molcajete is your choice of grilled steak or chicken, w/sauteed onions, tomatoes & your choice of jalapeño, poblano or bell pepper, topped w/ranchero or tamatillo sauce. Garnished w/cambray onion, cactus leaf and a slice of white cheese, served w/rice, beans & tortillas, sour cream, pico de gallo, guacamole, rice & beans. — See more at: . AND, it is served in a cast iron pig. Yep, a sizzling hot cast iron pig. It is a real head turner and enough food for two people. I posted a picture of it. In addition, they have horchata to cool the tongue from the dashing of hot sauce. In the summer, they even grow their own peppers in the garden on site. Now, that’s hot! I know there are good Mexican places all along Gallatin Pike. However, this is a place that you should experience. The menu is large and a low charge. Check please!

There was two roaches crawling along the wall while we were eating! Food really wasn’t that great to begin with. We lost our appetite immediately as soon as we seen the insects and the manager acted like it was not a big issue. The reason we came here is because of the rating on this app. The place is obviously an Applebee’s building turned into a Mexican restaurant. It did not feel like a Mexican restaurant. It felt more like an Applebee’s restaurant without the decorations than a Hispanic atmosphere. If this place ever wants to succeed I recommend them shut down for a couple of days and spray for bugs before someone seriously gets sick.

My kids and I ate here. My 6 year old had 2 bowls of guacamole by himself. Loves the stuff. Everything we ordered was very tasty. We especially enjoyed the chips and salsa. The flavor of my chimichanga was great. I will definitely go again.

Finally, real Mexican food(and homemade tortillas)! My husband and I are originally from south Texas near Mexico, and we’re so pumped to find this place. My husband recommends the carne asada tacos… and i just love anything with a homemade tortilla!

Best Mexican food in Nashville! There are no strangers eating here, everyone is made to feel at home. You won’t be disappointed with anything. Everything arrives promptly and at the correct temp.

One of the better places I’ve been to for mexican around us. There really aren’t that many options in E Nashville. The tortillas are made in house and the queso fundido was very good.

One thing my wife and I appreciated last night as we tried out las fiestas last night — the food, salsa, chips, toppings, everything was made fresh there — no canned or prepackaged items. The food was excellent and very tasty. My wife had a veggie quesadilla filled with mushrooms and I had spinach enchiladas — both were excellent including the beans and rice sides. For dessert we shared the flan which was made to perfection! The tortillas(corn and flour) were being hand made behind a glass viewing area so you could watch and see how these were made and how fresh they were. Everything about the restaurant was fresh authentic food. Service was absolutely excellent. For vegetarians the options are very good and if there is a vegetarian option you don’t see on the menu they are happy to make it for you. Definitely a «must come back to» place

We were a little wary about trying this new mexican restaurant in Madison as past experiences in the area with Mexican haven’t been great. Surprisingly, this restaurant in the old Applebee’s building is very good! We have not eaten inside the restaurant but have had takeout from there 3 times and it has been excellent 100% of the time. The Chuy’s special is great — a must try. We’ve also had the carnitas(yum), guacamole(ok), cheese dip(yum), and enchiladas(yum). The staff has always been friendly on the phone and when we pick up the food. I recommend if you haven’t tried this restaurant yet!
