Kohl’s

I’ve bought many things here and I would say about 75% of the time they’re defective. Clothes get holes in them after bring worn twice, wedges fall off shoes, crystals fall out of the jewelry… etc. Needless to say, you get what you pay for and that’s why everything’s so cheap.

Kohl’s.One of the best places to get great clothing at great prices. I have only been to a few locations but this location seems to have more of variety mens clothing compared to their other stores. I also like how they make it easy picking out what you need and not having to search for someone to get something. I had to get a new wallet on Tuesday and the cashier was friendly and asked if I wanted to save $ 10 by going to their site and scanning a code? Of course I did and was shocked as most companies do not proactively ask the customer if they want to save money. I will be coming back soon.

I was very disappointed when placing an order online. These were christmas gifts for my stepdaughter. I ordered four items of clothing it said all four were in stock and gave me a day it would arrive. I get an email a week and a half later stating only two of the items are in stock. Now I have to go somewhere else and look for these items. Oh and I finally got the package way later than expected. That will be the last time I order from Kohls. I use to be a loyal Kohls shopper, I haven’t been there to shop this holiday season!

I was a bit taken aback by the return policy for gifts without a gift receipt. If you don’t have the receipt, you can only choose an item that was the EXACT price of the item you are returning. ie: I was given a hideous nightgown by my mother-​in-​law for Christmas that was $ 30 and had to find another item that was EXACTLY $ 30, otherwise, I was given store credit of $ 10. WTF?
Also, I was a bit underwhelmed in their selection of bra sizes for my size, which is usually pretty easy to find.

My wife and I often shop here. They have good quality clothes for reasonable prices, plus they run good promotions with percentage off offers sent by mail and «Kohl’s cash» on certain dates as well (spend $ 50, get $ 10 in Kohl’s cash to spend later).
Their return policy is very lenient, so when I bought a gift for my wife that she ended up not liking as much as I thought she might, they took it back with no hassle. Normally there is at least some badgering, but their only question was «Is it damaged in any way?» and then they were handing us the new receipt with the refund.
The only down side for the husband-​in-​tow is that they have no seating available in the store near dressing rooms. A friend of mine and I are considering one day starting a class action suit against stores like this, because we’re forced to stand idly by in some random section of the women’s department.
So, get some chairs (preferably soft and plush, but I’d settle for a wooden bench or a metal folding chair) and I’ll bump this up to a five star store.

I really like shopping at Kohl’s because it’s usually quiet and very relaxed, especially in the men’s section. It definitely beats the hustle and bustle of the malls around town. They have a wide selection of clothes, too! Everything is on sale at some point and time, the trick is going when the items you want are on the sale. This can make a huge difference, because the prices can vary WIDELY from week to week. The weeks when they give Kohl’s cash are really good, too. Usually you can get $ 10 for every $ 50 you spend, on top of whatever sales are going on at the time.

Kohl’s is a pretty typical department store. A lot of the items seem way overpriced and sizes and styles are all over the map. However, if you have the patience you can find some really great stuff here for some super cheap prices (you just have to be prepared to dig through the sale racks).
Most recently I was able to find a super nice pair of dress pants for $ 8 and an extremely cute dress for under $ 20.
