I can’t stand Klinke’s. Not only are they horrendously over-priced and have poor customer service but they do a terrible job pressing dress shirts. I just spent $ 55 on having eight shirts laundered and pressed as well as a sweater and a full suit. All of the shirts came back poorly pressed. They actually look more wrinkled then when I originally brought them to get cleaned. I would avoid this place at all cost however there are very few walkable dry cleaners around the Concourse hotel. I live in NYC and expect things to be expensive but these guys take it to a new level. Shame on you, Klinke’s.

How does Klinke Cleaners stay in business? Sheer force of numbers. The prices on the dry-cleaning are not great, they are actually really expensive, but not needing lots of things dry cleaned, that doesn’t bother me so much. On the other hand, my wife paid $ 25 dollars to get a pair of pants hemmed, and the hem held for ONESTINKIN’ DAY. The problem is that Klinke is basically the only dry cleaners it’s convenient to go to…

This location is expensive, doesn’t do a good job of pressing, doesn’t accommodate minor customer requests, and has poor customer service. I asked that one of my shirt collars not be pressed as normal because it is an Eton style collar and should remain rounded. The customer service rep at dropoff assured me that she would make a note of it and it would be taken care of, however, when I picked it up it was pressed and the collar ruined. Also, there were stains on the collar that were not there when I dropped it off. The customer service rep who wrung me up on 5⁄14 at noon was rude and played the fool. He would not listen to my complaints, but rather snapped back at me and made me feel terrible in front of the other customers although I had a legitimate issue with my drycleaning. I even tried to show him specifically what was wrong with my shirt and explain everything in context, but he didn’t care at all or even try to look at/understand what I was describing/saying. I asked for the contact information of the manager to which he scribbled the number on a piece of paper with no name. I have never been treated so rudely and poorly before especially when I spend weekly at least $ 50 on drycleaning at this location and this time the bill was over $ 90! I am never going back.

This place is terrible. My husband and I had a jacket, shirt, and dress dry cleaned and it was somehow $ 60. My husband asked what it would cost beforehand and they seemed to have no idea. And the small stain on his shirt remains. Don’t waste your time. We used to live in Chicago and so had better options, but will be trying other places and not coming back.

There is no price list anywhere in this place and it’s a guessing game what they will charge you. I took a basic turtleneck sweater to have a hole in the elbow mended. The mending charge was $ 5. No problem with that price. But the dry cleaning of the sweater was $ 8. $ 8! However, my real complaint is that when I pulled the sweater out to wear it a couple weeks later, I discovered they hadn’t in the end mended the sweater! $ 13 and I still can’t wear the thing. RIPOFF!

$ 2.75/shirt after a $.75/shirt coupon. Ouch. I miss bigger city life when it comes to this!
