The place was small and very adorable. The staff was very friendly and quick to sit us ad bring us our drinks and food. Lisa was even there and came to speak to us and made sure we had a pleasant experience. My boyfriend and I ordered the chicken and waffles, which was pretty good. We also ordered the mango Bellini and Bloody Mary which we were good. Would definitely return again.

I don’t know if we were in the restaurant on laundry day or not, but my experience was very unpleasant. The fabric softener fragrance coming off the black tablecloth was unreal. It was so perfumed that I really couldn’t enjoy my meal. Perhaps I would have been better able to taste my meal if we were able to eat outside. The chicken piccata was average. The bread served with the meal was oddly crispy crusty, as if it had been warmed and re-warmed several times.

Upon checking in, our hotel receptionist highly recommended Lisa’s when asked for a place to eat. Reviews found on the Internet are varied, as expected. Not all people can be pleased. We usually retire early in the evening to read so consequently are not evening socialites. One daily meal is usually sufficient for us aged people. Hence, we walked to Lisa’s for an evening meal at around 5pm. Upon entering our greeter from behind the bar said the lunch meal was not available at this time. We were interested in dinner and said so. He pointed to a booth and said to have a seat. In the dim light I sat down on a cushion which happened to be a rolled up floor mat. Not a big deal. The waiter brought the menus and apologized for the mat on the bench and took our drink orders. We like tilapia and we each ordered an entrée of such. He said it was not fresh meaning it was farmed fish instead of freshly caught. No big deal for us. We were served our meal which was very nice. Each of us consumed it entirely. The waiter/bar keep asked twice from a distance if we were«OK, over there?» We replied affirmatively and once I asked and received another glass of beer. I should add we were the only customers in the restaurant. Summary, we had a very nice quiet«evening» meal. The food was everything we could ask for. The atmosphere was to our liking-very quiet. We realize we are not impressive movers and shakers like the jet set which probably frequents Lisa’s later in the evenings but felt condescension from the waiter. So, service being as it was, we have to give 4 stars when 5 would have been warranted with exceptional service.

The steak cuts like butter and the crab stuffed shrimp is phenomenal. Calamari appetizer was fresh, and portion was too much for us to eat.

Lisa’s Café is one of the Gulf Beach Blvd. true treasure. This small restaurant serves a nice typical American breakfast, very nice lunch selection and a wonderful dinner menu. They have a beer & wine bar with a very decent sangria made from the house recipe. The owner Lisa is quite the doll who brought her New Jersey feel at home style comfort to the Café. She greets you and walks you through her menu & specials while her wait staff take care of your orders. The crab mac n cheese makes a nice starter for dinner. I can’t keep from ordering the house special Grouper Lisa style. Supreme fresh grouper steak topped with ample crab meat and hollandaise sauce. The café is open Wednesday through Monday. A good spot for small groups, romantic dinners family or just an night out. Entertainment on the weekends

Very cute little place right across the street from our hotel. We walked all over Johns Pass looking for something apetizing to eat and a waitress going into work at a bar suggested Lisa’s Café. The food was better than I expected. Very fresh and very nice presentation. Only thing I wasn’t super crazy about was the traffic that passes while sitting on the patio. Great little place though!

Had brunch here while on vacation. The grits were really, really good… if you like them made with cream and lots of butter… I do. I also had an egg white omelet with spinach, mushrooms and Swiss cheese with rye toast. All very yummy. My husband got the breakfast special and he was happy with it. My only issue was that we were seated with a umbrella to block the sun and then it was removed with no explanation until I asked. Oh, they serve limes with their tea which I dug. I can’t quite talk myself into 5 stars, but I’d go again!

We ate at Lisa’s Café twice during our holiday in Treasure Island. The sign outside the restaurant that announced the biscuits and gravy and banana fosters french toast caught my eye when I ran by in the morning. I brought my family back for breakfast and we had an absolutely fantastic meal. Lisa greeted us as we walked in and made sure to tell us about the sausage gravy, which my wife and I ultimately had. She was true to her word — filling, tasty and with a little spicy kick. My daughter had the cinnamon french toast and my son had the breakfast sandwich. Both were extremely happy with their choices. We returned later with several friends. Lisa was extremely accommodating of our large party. Our server, Gabby, was extremely efficient, courteous and professional. Lisa was outgoing, friendly and very hospitable. The specials that day included a grouper Reuben sandwich and a crab cake BLT, which were very much enjoyed by some in our party. Other highlights included the fish spread appetizer and Philly cheese steak. Lisa’s Café will definitely be on our agenda when we return to Treasure Island.

Stopped by for breakfast today on our return back home from a vacation. I was a bit unsure going in with my wife and kids but the reviews made me take the plunge. I was glad I did! By far the best corn beef hash I ve had. The only knock was the quantity was less. But the taste was so good I don’t think any amount would have been enough! The potato wedges, waffles, oh and the grits all were outstanding! The omelets were perfect. We got the western and veggie. Both were top notch in how the eggs were cooked and the Veggies were sautéed and blended in. Someone mentioned the service was rude but everyone there were friendly. Highly recommend this place.

This place is amazing and Lisa has a lot to do with that. She is so hospitable and friendly to all the guests. The Crab Benedict might be the best breakfast I’ve ever had. My wife had the Bananas Foster Waffle which was equally amazing. We definitely recommend this as one of the best breakfast spots in the area.

Came for dinner based on the average 4 star reviews and figured why not. Lisa was very friendly which was nice but the food was extremely underwhelming and over priced. Overcooked veggies and something on one of the plates had a slightly off putting smell. A few of us had sour stomachs later that night and early next morning. Now that I go back and read the reviews I see they are mostly for breakfast, so maybe we will come back and try it in the morning but definitely not dinner.

This place is pretty wonderful. We stopped in for breakfast just a little while after they opened. The menu is just big enough to have something for everyone –but not overwhelm you. Please trust me and get a mango belini or a mimosa with your meal. You will not be disappointed. Our server was efficient friendly and patient. We got the chicken & waffles, banana foster french toast, and the corn beef has special. All three were delicious and filling. I would order them again. All three plates, a mimosa, a bellini, and a few cups of coffee and our bill came to 44 $ and some change.

I had high hopes for this quaint little seaside café, but atlas my hopes were slightly dashed. Out for a bike ride, needing a bit of energy, I stopped for a late breakfast. Always a sucker for corned beef hash, I went for it. While I think it was good it was really had to tell given the scant amount on my plate. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the home fries were good although I’m not sure they weren’t frozen. I think I could have gone 4 star had the star of the show been present. Maybe next time through I stop for lunch or supper.

Lisa’s Café is a quaint little restaurant situated in Madeira Beach. The wait staff was super friendly and our coffee mugs were always full. I ordered a half order of the sausage gravy and biscuits – really flavorful! My husband ordered the chicken and waffles. The flavor was on point but the waffle was chewy and hard to cut? Overall it’s a great little café that isn’t overpriced!

After reading several reviews we made the trip to Lisa’s for breakfast. It was a bit of a walk from where we were staying but completely worth it. We had the banana’s foster that everyone is raving about. It totally lives up to all the hype. It was delicious! We also had eggs, home fries, bacon, and sausage as well as a Bellini and a mimosa. All the food was good and the service was the best we’ve had since we’ve been in Madeira Beach. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of five stars is because of the dripping a/c units right next to our table and the street front location. This place would be awesome if it were beachfront instead of in front of the busy street. We also had a feathered visitor who repeatedly returned to grab up their jelly packets. It was kind of funny because this bird made several trips until they got wise and took the jelly caddy off of the table.

I was on vacation down in Madiera Beach, FL last week and I heard about this place from many locals. I had to make a visit before the trip was over. Lisa’s was just a short 10 minute walk from John’s Pass. Me and a friend walked down to it and we went inside. We first met Lisa, the woman behind all the magic. She greeted us warmly and quickly sat us outside, since the day was so beautiful already. We were then served by a man with a bit of a dry personality. He wasn’t super friendly like Lisa but he quickly got us our drinks so we could enjoy them while looking at the menu. The menu has a great breakfast menu, which can sometimes be hard to find. I chose to Banana’s Foster French Toast, which was also on a sign with specials so I knew it had to be a favorite. The food came out very efficiently. The French Toast was so warm and moist. Covered in a banana cream sauce, it looked to die for. It had a taste to match, it was warm, sweet and not too dry. The bananas on top were warm and had the banana cream sauce all over them as well. I was very impressed by how well it was prepared. I would definitely go back to Lisa’s and I probably will seeing as I vacation to Madeira every year. Lisa was sweet, the restaurant was charming and I loved the food. Can’t wait to go back and try something different. :)

When I first arrived the owner was working to prepare for the night crowd, very friendly lady. The host was also very polite and nice. The calamari was very good they give you quite a bit, but the marinara sauce is just OK, for the entrée I had the Italian Fried Porkchop with a side of mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. The porkchop was very juicy and well cooked, the potatoes were very good but not very hot, and i’m not big on mixed vegitables so i skipped out on those. All and all it was good food with a good staff!

We went there for breakfast. I had the best home fries and grits ever! The corn beef hash was delicious. Coffee was so flavorful and freshly brewed. Service was fast, attentive and friendly. A definite place to eat for breakfast! We want to go back soon and try their lunch/dinner items!
