Archibald Memorial Beach Park

Archibald Park is an excellent choice for a day at the beach for families, groups or individuals. We love the Snack Shack and ice cream parlor. Having plenty of public restrooms and shower facilities is a big plus! They also have cabanas, chairs and umbrellas for rent. Sports fanatics will appreciate the two volleyball courts and lots of beach activities like Yoga classes from MAD Beach Yoga, running clubs, and plenty of space for Frisbee, football, or just catching some sun!

What an amazing beach. Just perfect. They also had hammocks which just made the day amazing! Could not have been better.

Beautiful beach with plenty of parking, clean restrooms close by and within easy walking distance of a great tourist area (bars, restaurants, etc…).

This newly revamped parking area is nice. It’s located close to restaurants and grocery stores, so beach goers will want for naught. There appears to be plenty of parking spaces.
The biggest downfall is it’s awkward to get in and out of this place, but I suppose that was always the case. (Oooh, a rhyme.) It’s just located at the intersection of two busy roads, so entering and leaving can be a challenge dependent upon the time of day and whether or not the tourists are here. Otherwise, it’d be a 5.
