Advance Auto Parts

You guys are awesome, wonderful people.
This past Thursday the sweetie and I were headed to Florida. Finally I was going to get warm! Round about Macon the car started running hot so we mapped an Advance Auto 3 miles away. At that point we thought we probably just needed some coolant.
Once we get a good look though (I’m saying «we» but I really just sat in the car yelling out helpful comments to the sweetie under the hood) we can see that there’s actually a hole in a radiator hose. Not wanting to spend the next hour fooling with this in the parking lot we asked the AA employees for a recommendation for a mechanic. They pointed us to Raffield’s Goodyear down the road (see scathing review).
Raffield’s didn’t pan out so back to AA it was. My poor sweetie, in the 90 degree sun, took the hose off (which is much harder than it sounds, there was a lot of swearing and sweating involved) and goes in to try and get a replacement. Even better, the AA employee cut the holey part of the hose off (it was right near the end) and we were able to just pop it back on. Easy-​peasy (says the woman that was only yelling encouragement and NOT doing the work). One of the employees even came out to check on us.

just glad to have an auto parts store on this side of town. pretty good service, but have to order parts for you a lot of the time. if you need it right away, you are SOL
