This store used to be in the same strip mall as Marshall’s, and it seems like the selection has gone downhill since. I think the old location may have been bigger, but it is rarely worth the drive to go out to Machesney Park from where I live just to go to this store. Even when I stop in while in the area, I usually leave empty handed.

I’m addicted to TJ Maxx & Marshalls. I love a bargain hunt. Like any other TJ Maxx you never know what you will get. They have a jewelry counter, handbags, shoes, clothes, & home goods. The staff are friendly. I usually spend a half hour to an hour here. I will say that their clothing hasn’t always been the best as compared to Marshall’s or other TJ Maxx stores that I have been to. I usually do come home with something. My husband sometimes finds good sports team related merchandise. Today I went home with a dress, shirt, Blackhawks hat for my husband & two pots for plants. So you see there is a good variety of items to browse. If you are not a Maxxinista yet be sure to check it out. Oh & they have a store credit card that you can rack up points pretty easy on. Every thousand points gets a ten$ certificate to spend in store. In store purchases count as 3 points per dollar.
