This place has tons of space and a huge patio. I was invited here for a birthday party and also to watch the Bears game. They have free food for halftime. The food was free so you can’t complain if it wasn’t to anyone’s standards. I had tons of craft beers which were a lot less that I’m used to paying in the city. I enjoyed playing bags with my friends and will be back for more as they like to hang a this bar.

Great neighborhood place to get a few drinks with some friends! Outdoor patio is amazing! There are several flat screen TVs, ping pong, pool table, bags, juke boxes, etc. bartenders are really friendly! I loved this place.

Okay, I’m from the city, so I am pretty particular on what I need from a suburban bar. Marlins is as good some of my favorite city hangouts! They have a huge outdoor deck, with some great live music on the weekends. The music is usually just one or two musicians, so not so loud that you can’t speak. The food is truly excellent and there is even a jukebox inside! Cute design with the fish and great atmosphere. The owner Eddie is friendly and just a fun regular guy. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the burbs and the city dwellers when wandering to the west burbs. Best place in the west burbs by far!

Marlins is the go to spot if you want to have a good time with your friends. The bartenders are very friendly and I’ve even had the pleasure of speaking with the guy who runs the place on numerous occasions! Great drink specials and plenty of things to do! Our baseball team found sanction every Sunday after our baseball games this summer in Marlins’ beer garden. BEST beer garden ever! Huge projection screen tv, bacci ball, couple of sets of bags, ping pong, pool tables, tons of patio sets! Never have been disappointed with my experience at this fine establishment! If you haven’t checked it out yet, definitely urge you to do so!

Marlins is the perfect spot for any occasion. Whether you’re stopping in for an awesome fish sandwhich for lunch or dinner, or just hanging out with friends Marlins provides an awesome atmosphere! Great food, great drink specials, friendly people and a great time! The inside has very cool decorations and the Beer garden is second to none!

This place is great in the summer. They have a beautiful outdoor patio. Thursday is the night to go… $ 3 pitchers… does get crowded. They also have good specials other days. Never ate here… so I couldn’t tell you how the food is.

First time to this local watering hole. Nice little place, decent prices and crowd is ok. Music, not so much. But they do have a great beer garden with games n shit. If you find yourself in Lyons craving a drink, check it out :)

From the street, I almost decided it’s not worth going in. Once inside I found a pretty crowded but comfortable blue collar bar with great beer specials and taxidermy game fish everywhere. They have very good fish sandwiches. I had grilled marlin, my wife had breaded grouper. There was a dart league playing in there that night. They also have a pool table and lots of hi def tvs that all had hockey games on. It must be a perfect place to go in the summer since the beer garden and outside bar is three times bigger than the inside.

Man this bar had a good looking blond working the night I went. It has alot of fish and shark manaquiens on the walls. I guess ikt would be called fishaquiens. The place is a dive bar as is another bar fifty yards away. You can bar hop the two and determine which is more seedy. Bikers hang out at both. Lyons is definetly the bar capital of West Burbs

If you’re in the burbs Marlin’s is a great place to go in the summer. Marlin’s has cheap drinks and specials. They even have a shot wheel. On the back patio they have bags and bocce ball. They also have those pitchers with the ice holder on the outside to keep the beer cold. Check it out!
