I’ve gotta say I’m not a big fan of the nightlife scene but this place was actually nice. I went for a birthday party. Parking was a little bit challenging so I ultimately settled for valet which was not too bad. The venue is small on the inside and fills up pretty quickly. After some drinks, my friends and I hit the dance floor which is located in the center of all seating. The music was perfect and the atmosphere was great. It was a good time had by all. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a nice cozy place to party.

Watch out, the bartenders overcharge their customers to steal money. I was there tonight, first time there. I’m hispanic, but not mexican, my buddy is white. Not sure if it’s a race thing, but the women working the bar was charging us six dollars for a pacifico. Which is very high for a place out in berwyn. After about 3 – 4 beers, I noticed they on the register they charged me 5 dollars for a pacifico and a coke (I gave a 20 and saw the screen that said 15.00 change), however the guy working there only gave me 11 back. Shady place, and they weren’t only overcharging me, I saw them charging 4 dollars for a bottle water, but it rings up 3 dollars (a guy ordered one and paid with a 5 and I saw 2 dollars was the change), but they only returned 1. Don’t go here, very shady place. The manager should check his employees working the bar, they are stealing from your customers.

This use to be my spot but till last time I went the owner was vey rude. He kick half the people from the table because we weren’t consuming liquor. Was there 930 to server the table. How is it possible he sees what we consume if the waitress take for ever to get the order and take empty drinks away obviously he is not going to see liquor. In the table if the waitress cleans the table. He was very unprofessional.

I’ve been here twice. Once during birthday week. I recall the manger not only sending out a mini cake. he gave me a free shoot and took a shoot with me and still gave a major discount on the whole bill.
Came for dinner but around the time we got done 9ish there was a dance instructor teaching a few ladies that have arrived some moves on the dance floor.
I thought the food was wonderful. I’ve had the Parrillada at a few places and I always think of this place being that it was my first. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to try out the club part but the four stars is for the food and service.

This place is terrible. Food was bad and the drinks where the worst. They expect to over charge for lousy terrible drinks. I told them the drinks where terrible and then they bring me a bill for higher then what they had previously said. To add to it the bartender was the rudest, made us wait around while she was dancing and then comes back to overcharge us.

To start off the place is too uncomfortable. The waitress was mad at our table because we couldnt eat our food due to bad quality. The steak several people ordered was like rubber. Overall it was no a pleasant experience and will probably not come back anytime soon. STAY AWAY

The chips and salsa and dinners were really good. The grilled chicken was dry and the margaritas were weak and not very flavorful. The service was good, the atmosphere on a Saturday night was a huge party. Karaōke that was too loud until 10 pm, followed by a dance club atmosphere with a DJ.
They told us that the Unilocal deal wasn’t good on alcohol, but I didn’t allow that to happen. Our bill was close to $ 50 in food, but not completely. After speaking with the manager who told me it wasn’t good on alcohol and then that it wasn’t good after 10, I said that the deal no where says that. She removed the tax and it brought the bill down a couple of bucks. I’m not a fan of restaurants who try to add exclusions to deals after the fact and refused to allow it based on principle, especially because I told our server about the deal when we sat down and she didn’t mention it.

Came back again now on Friday I will called my new spot on Friday for Dancing Latin Rhythms, good DJ, great food and excellent service, I can tell that, Marcos Ayala as new manager really putting the his experience to work in this place, the service is great and the food is good! Keep up the good work!

This place is awesome! The manager, Marcos Ayalla, was very welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a great time!

A year has passed and I am now able to finally write about this place. First I would like to strongly deter anyone from booking for a large group of people. In October, my father passed away we booked this location to have the luncheon after the Burial. I can not emphasize the additional pain and hurt the management of this location caused us. We had a group of 175 people for whom we had made prior arrangements and paid a substantial deposit for said meal. Upon our arrival we were greeted with an unorganized staff and two trays of food and a baby shower going on in part of the restaurant. We asked to speak to the manager who never showed his face nor were we able to speak to the owner. Talk about un professional and cowardly behavior. In my line of work I deal with people who are experiencing grief and never in my wildest thought would I have behaved in this manner with anyone. If you are smart please don’t allow anyone especially the management of this place to subject you or your loved ones to this type of lack of respect and committment. SO I STRONGLY SUGGUEST STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I have been to Davilas and had huge parties there. closed out just for me… I have never got wanded. Manager and owner cool as heck and very accommodating. Not to thrilled about berwyn police as security, but they have never harassed or wanded me or my guests. Definitely a nice place to go for drinks and appetizers. Plates are reasonably priced for parties. A definite must go! check out for yourself.

Very unprofessional and unorganized, wanted a private lunch after a funeral on a sat. afternoon bring about 175 guests and when me and the guests arrive there’s another party with pink and white balloons. The food trays were all there and they were tiny trays that would def. not feed 175 ppl. i wanted a nice quiet luncheon i mean it was a funeral, the manager ran away and never came out to solve the issue i demanded the deposit back which i did get, NO APOLOGIES FROM THE OWNER… luckily we found another place that took me and my 175 guests to. DO NOT GO THERE, IT IS A RIP OFF

Nothing special, but nothing wrong. The menu is pretty typical of a well rounded Mexican restaurant. I give extra props to the über attentive wait staff who kept chips and salsa a’flowing to a full house.

my husband and i with three of our friends had $ 5.00 margaritas, yummy … appetizers, the combo great !!! also fresh chips and smokey warm salsa. reminded me of the old kathy’s… the staff was very friendly and the manager came to the table and thanked us for comming outside seating. we will be going back :)

There is a new owner for this restaurant, and it’s so improved! The $ 5 Margaritas were great, the Tamarindo and Guayaba were so different and interesting. The manager and staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We loved our mealsand will go back again soon. Late night is said to be hot with music and DJs. On a nicer evening we will try the cute outdoor patio.

Just went tonight & I can not wait to go back. The Sangria was delicious, Parrillada was to die for and the salsa and tortillas were so fresh. The shrimp was wrapped in bacon and so juicy! Our server was attentive and the live music was a blast. Please give them a try; I want them to make it!
