Mariscos El Viejon

Worst possible place to come for mediocre food. Horrible service I came at the 1030 ordered 3 tacos and 3 tostadas to go and it took them over 25 minutes to get them ready. The waitresses there did not even acknowledge that I was there because I was not dining in and they was not buying beer.

First time here. Was looking for a 7 mares caldo but they didnt have it, although a waitress over heard me trying to order it and said we dont have that but we have a consome eapecial which is almost the same. So that was nice and helpful of her. Then i ordered a coctel de camaron, and the plato de camarones empanizado. The price blew my mind. Lol i almost wanted to say BYE nevermind. Ok so i paid, telling myself they better be worth it. It was friday around 12. The order didnt take long to be ready, but there wasnt alot of people either. So now Im fixing up my coctel i add ketchup, lemon, no taste. I add tapatio and more ketchup no taste, add some salt NO TASTE. Whatever I still ate it. The shrimp were noce and fresh and medium size and it had a good amount. The caldo was jus to watery. The consome especial had a good amount of stuff in it too, I didnt eat it so I dont know exactly what, but the same thing with that one NO TASTE. The plate de los camarones empanizado look delicious, it had rice, fries that had some good seasoning on them and the shrimp laid out on the rice. To begin the shrimp were almost burnt. To hard. The rice was not so great. The fries were the best part of this dish. Good amount of food, but i need my shrimp to be a good amount of fried and soft in between. Service was good, prices OK, 2 stars for the food.

Some of the best mariscos in LA I’ve tried most places you can think of in the area and this place is my favorite for campechanas n micheladas good tacos to.

This place was amazing. so amazing we went 2 days in a row and thinking about back today! Tacos El viejon is a must… ceviche and michelada game was strong too.

The best tacos!!! Fish tacos and el viejon tacos are bomb!!! Although a bit pricey, it was definitely worth it!!!

Great food here. Best michelada in town. I have had he botana de camarones. Delish! I have yet to try their famous tacos el viejon. I hear that they are to die for !!
Also good is the filete de pescado enpiojado.
This is my third time here. I want to try something diff every time I come !!

I really dig seafood, but if your service is not the greatest on your first visit, then we have a problem. I will not return here do to the food being 3 stars, but the service was 1 star. I decided to meet them half ways with 2 stars. I recommend that you choose the server appropriately.

Food is fresh and delicious. Service is great. Ceviche de camaron is amazing. Michelada is the bomb and the prices are reasonable.

My Cousin and i drove here from The valley, she bragged about how delicious the food was, I usually do not bust missions for food but the long drive was worth it! The Place wasn’t fancy, but the customer service was amazing everyone was humble and nice, the food was Delicious i cannot wait to go back! ill be bringing my friedns & family from out of town here!

ive been going here for the past 3 years, one of the best places to eat mariscos along with perihuete.
They have the best fish tacos, good micheladas, and a great atmosphere.

Delicious ceviche delicious micheladas and a variety of other seafood dishes! Lynnwood has the best out-​of-​the-​way spot to get the best Sinaloa Mexican seafood! It really is a hole in the wall and a true diamond in the rough if you’re not paying attention you might drive right past it! Well before you begin to eat order the consommé! consommé is a type of clear soup made from richly flavored seafood stock! Yum

The food is great!
But the service is kinda of slow!
and the waiters don’t come often to your table to ask how everything is going and if you need anything else.

This place, is the best! !!! Specially when you have a hangover, try the consome and the shrimp cocktail.. Hangover will be gone instantly.. The fresh squeezed lemonade is my favorite. you must try, you’ll love it:)

I am IN LOVE with this place!!! There was a time when we had it every weekend for like 3 months straight because of me Lol Must try at this place are «Tacos Viejon» which is just a really crunchy taco with carne asada and shrimp inside SO good. Fish tacos and shrimp tacos are also delish served with not so spicy salsa on the side and a lime wedge. Micheladas are to die for! (to my taste) I don’t care about the wait, it’s worth it. I’ve tried many things and have never been disappointed give this place a try I recommend it!!! SO GOOD!!! Over all the service is also great, the girls are always nice, smiling, courteous and check up every so often and are just on it.
*Cons: Only 3 drinks per person
*Outdoor seating but no alcoholic drinks outdoors (don’t think this has changed)
*CASH ONLY but they do have an indoor ATM

Garbage — party of 16 waited over 50 minutes. .the waitress cleaned up the 3 tables & instead of seating us she let a party of 3 that had JUSTTT walked in sit in the middle of the tables… not very business savvy… just lost out on a minimum $ 100 tip & future visits from us.

This is my 2^nd time here and i love it. They are very fast and the food is delicious. I am giving it 4 stars because it is cash only. They do have an ATM machine, but the transaction s $ 2.25. All they need for 5 stars is take CC or debit.

My ultimate favorite Mexican seafood place. The tacos El Viejon, shrimp Consome and the shrimp ceviche are a must. The overall atmosphere is really good and although it gets a little packed, it is definitely worth the wait.

Food is good, parking is a nightmare! I’m lucky I live walking distance, otherwise I’d just avoid this place. It’s always busy, be prepared to wait. I don’t like the fact they only take cash, no debit/​credits cards.

Omg! My fave food is seafood I have tried so many seafood places. My bf brought me here about a couple of months ago And I can’t get enough of it I love! My fave is the molcajete! To die for

Camarones Aguachiles– Raw shrimp, diced tomatoes, avocados, cucumber, and julienne red onions tossed in a fiery (or so it should be), tangy marinade to lightly cook the shrimp in the acids of the lime juice. Shrimp was very tender, barely cooked in the mixture with a sweet and slightly spicy feel to it that rolls down the back of your tongue. Balanced with the freshness of the cucumber, and buttery sweetness from the avocado. In my opinion, it could’ve been a bit spicier, but was still packing a lot of flavor. If you’ve never tried eating raw shrimp, or aguachiles, this is certainly a good way to start.
Coctel Mariscoco– Same as Campechana, but with chunks of coconut, and served in the shell of the coconut. Honestly, these two dishes tasted the same, as if they just took a bowl of the Campechana, tossed in some chunks of coconut and served it to us. Slightly better taste with it, though. The tomato mixture was served on the side from the main ingredients. Nice little presentation, but would’ve been better with the flavors being up to par as well.
