This is just a regular 7-​Eleven nothing special. Right on the corner of two main streets and easy to spot. Just like all 7-​Elevens they are usually a bit pricey than a regular grocery store but it is just convenient since they are usually closer to your house.

It’s amazing on how I am being upselled by the kids that worked here.
As I am sweating in this unforgiving heat and sweltering sun, I made the B-​line to the soda machine. Chucked down a load of ice and spray a huge liquid of Dr. Pepper in my 42 ounce cup.
As I was ready to pay for my drink, the kid behind the counter acted all coy and slick by asking me if it’s hot outside. When I replied with a «yeah», he then proceeded to try to sell me a lotto ticket because «since I’m on fire, might as well continue my hot streak».
No thanks.
Lottos are fool’s gold. I’m not that desperate.
BTW, I think I suffered a heat stroke because at this point in time… I still don’t know why I was in the ghetto?
