I’ve never been a Unilocal snob, nor have I ever cared enough to write up a review for anyplace I’ve visited BUT I’ve never been so disappointed in a food administration. We literally waited an hour and a half for the food, and my bad for not just getting up and leaving. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited — the place wasn’t busy at all, there were about 4 families total, including us. Then when we finally got the food, it was extremely mediocre. Something I could make at home. All I can say is, if you want good service and good food, don’t come here. Especially if you’re hungry.

Consistency of udon noodles was perfect! The broth was flavorful without being heavy, and the mushrooms were meaty. The fish is fresh and cut large, unlike so many places that use huge pieces of rice. Worth the trip to Lynnwood!

I came in for lunch and didn’t even stay! My first clue was the filthy door mat and floors. Next were the doors leading to the restrooms… there were big black marks from people pushing open the doors. The restroom was not clean. If the restaurant is dirty, how is the food clean especially sushi? I left without even sitting down.

Best sushi place I’ve been to in Washington. And the prices are unbeatable, total gem!

Good service, tasty sushi. they even had blue fin tuna today. Cost of 3 rolls and 6 pieces of niguri was $ 35. Expensive and fish not very think sliced.

This is our little secret sushi spot for really fresh and reasonable rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. Dishes include salad and miso soup before your entrée/main comes out, and I love their barley tea which is also free. The owners are Korean, and they are usually never busy, which has been a positive experience for us, because they seem to be more tentative with less tables that are having to wait on.

Everything at Misoya was just OK. They gave me free miso and salad with my order — that was a nice addition, however; the descriptions of the dishes were off. Our server was also OK, she didn’t smile once… but I wouldn’t say that her customer service was bad by any means. I most likely will not be going back.

The sushi is really delicious. Especially the baked seafood sushi over california roll. Everything is made fresh and so service can be a tad slow. Super friendly owners. Extremely tasty food in the Lynwood area.

This is my absolute favorite sushi place. A little pricey, but all sushi is so that is to be expected. Service is minimal but not bad(language barrier) and the sushi rolls totally make up for it. it’s the real deal eel, crunchy tuna and all of the other fresh ingredients they have to offer! Huge menu as well.

If you like dirty, horrible service, no utensils and when you ask what kind of white wine they have and Chardonnay is the only answer then asking oh what kind and they say I don’t know and don’t go look for you.: This is the place for you. The bathrooms are the cleanest place in the restaurant. The sushi was so so not as horrible as the paint job on the walls, ambiance or customer service. There are too many good sushi places around to even think about going back. I’d go to the H-mart any day over this place.

Two times. Two times I have tried to eat here. They were not ready for customers at the posted hours of operation. Open at noon supposedly. This last time I arrived at about 12:20pm. Not open. In fact a couple minutes later the owners drove up. I found out they were the owners because they got some groceries out of their vehicle and unlocked the door to the restaurant. Huh. I figured they would not be ready for some time. Oh well. H-mart food court is open and I am done trying to eat here.

This small hole in the wall sushi and noodle house is the best we have found in the Edmonds or Lynnwood area. We’ve tried a bunch. If you are at the Alderwood Mall it is worth crossing the street. Don’t be put off by cheap looking«sushi» sign. The Japanese owner couple are your chef and waitress and they care about every aspect of your experience. We’ve eaten the raw fish dishes(sushi, sashimi and ngiri and rolls) which have all been first rate. I had a teriyaki baked salmon lunch meal that was excellent too. Good miso and small salad come with each meal. Six seats at the bar and about 5 four tops are the total space.

Update* came back here again. Salad was good like before. Had to wait for utensils. Salmon skin roll was good. Dragon rol was good. Service a little lacking.

This is my favorite sushi location! And I actually always end up getting the chicken fried rice though since it’s my absolute favorite dish there. I’ve taken many friends and my family here and they all enjoy the food. The business is family owned and they’re always very kind so it’s great customer service. I find myself coming back nearly every week though I’ve moved almost an hour and a half away now. I love this place!

Came here for lunch with a friend and it was delicious! Great family owned business. Hood customer service. The sushi selection was good. I had some type of fried tempura roll with spicy tuna and eel sauce: glorious. Soup and salad was also good. Decently priced. I’ll be coming back!

Well fact that there is no «Real» sushi around Lynnwood, this place at least offers quality and authenticity. If you went to Blue C or I love sushi type of place thinking you had a real sushi? oh plz…

Forget about H mart and Sushiland, if you want to taste real sushi this is the place to go. When I first came into the door, the waiter instantly gave me the attention every customer should get. Not knowing what to order, the waiter gave me great suggestions and I got the yummy yummy role. The price was very reasonable for the portions they gave. Before the roll was served, I was given a bowl of Miso soup. I don’t understand why people keep saying it tastes like dish soap, but it really just tastes like a ordinary Miso soup. a couple of minutes later the roll came out. It was delicious. The roll was fried to perfection and I couldn’t have wanted it any better. Overall this restraunt uses fresh ingredients and takes care of their customers. Other sushi places in the lynwood area just don’t taste the same. check it out its good stuff.

Unilocal totally did us wrong, again. Who is paying for these good reviews? We dropped into this place to grab a quick bit before heading to the movie theater close by. Ordered the usual roles, California, Spicy Tuna, the usual stuff. The server didn’t offer us water, or anything, we even had to get our our plates. The place wasn’t clean, and smelled like old fish. The décor was dark and the paint on the walls was chipping off. The plates were like plastic. Now on to the food, wow bad. The sushi wasn’t rolled properly. The wasabi was runny and taste bad. The fish just wasn’t fresh, the rolls were not properly put together. They did offer us soup, but it was poured out of a crook pot sitting in the middle of restaurant. You could see buckets in the kitchen falling all over the place, and the door to the kitchen was this old sheet which was dirty. Look this place wasn’t clean and was kind of scary.

On first stumbling upon this restaurant, I wasn’t sure whether to stay or try another place. While the strip mall façade isn’t appealing, don’t let it fool you. I ordered the Misoya roll and tempura udon. Both were good choices. The Misoya roll was filling, and the sushi chef didn’t hold back – eel, soft shell crab, and avocado. The tempura udon was good too. I’ve never had such a hot bowl of noodles. Atmosphere was ok – for the price and style of food, it fits the restaurant. I recommend this place if you are passing through the area.
