Hey guys, this place isn’t Whole Foods, but give them a break. They’re trying to compete on price in a highly competitive industry with one Market Basket within 5 miles of them and another one likely to open up in 2 – 3 years in the same city. Yeah, the clientele is crap, but that’s not the store’s fault. Whenever I go there, I find the produce section quite acceptable. Dairy section is limited, but their private label cottage cheese happens to be exceptional, better than Hoods. Bringing your own bags and sacking your groceries yourself isn’t that big a deal; they provide an area with plenty of room to do this. Store is in a horrible section of the Lynnway, can be tough going over a curb getting out of the parking lot. Wish they took manufacturer’s coupons, even though I don’t use them that often. Only place other than MB that sells spring water for 50 cents a gallon.

I buy everything here that I can. They don’t have everything but they come very close. I have been shopping here since they opened. Friendly staff. They will actually try to order requests for you that they don’t currently sell. 99% of the groceries are cheaper here and just as good as anywhere else. The economy is terrible… shop here.

This is a modest store for modest people of modest means. I’m pretty modest, so I sort of liked it. if you are into hispanic food(all kinds, including mexican and central american), and don’t know that you don’t really like Domincan Republic gouda or Guatamalan sausage, you can find out. You might also find some authentic old style corn on the cob(also, not so good to my taste), and portugese sweet bread(not sweet breads, also not to my taste, but I wanted to try them). And, you might find some interesting pastries and sauces(good for me) and cakes and cookies. You do bag /box your own groceries, like at some or all Aldi’s. which is ok if you are prepared. this is, by the way, not like Shubie’s, and perhaps as far away as you can get in a 15 min. drive from Shubie’s. I did not get to meet the homeless, and feel deprived of that experience. –1 star.

First to review? Not surprised! The IQ of most of the customers(and employees) is well below standard, even for Lynn! The police officer stationed near the exit usually spends his shifts catching flies. I popped into Price Wrong to grab some chocolate chip cookie dough. They didn’t have any. I was assaulted by the strong stench of a regular homeless man who is a «regular» in the city of Lynn, a very very dirty, tan(because he’s dirty) Caucasian guy wearing army fatigues. Probably one of the strongest smells of B. O I’ve ever smelled. He’s been around for years and the smell has always been the same. It definitely has a sillage to it. Upon exiting into the death trap of a «parking» lot, I was bid farewell by another homeless staple to the city, a red headed woman purported to have schizophrenia. She frequently shoplifts from Walmart — walking out the door with sunglasses on that she didn’t have on when she entered, walking out with shiny new boots. «Have a nice drink!» She called after me casually. I need a drink after going to this dump of a grocery store. zero stars Can’t tell if they’re cheap or just«eco-friendly» by making you bag your own groceries and using old boxes instead of bags
