Tried Crown Fried Chicken last night… everyone wanted something new and different… then someone mentioned fried chicken. We didn’t want the usual… KFC…so a quick search on Unilocal provided us with this little gem. Of course one look at the menu and everyone began ordering different items, not just fried chicken. Here is what we tried and let me tell you… everything was great and like others have pointed out… the price is right. Big portions for short money. We tried some Fried Chicken, of course, a Chicken Gyro, Beef Gyro, fried chicken sandwich, beef patty and an order of fries. Good was great, no complaints, which is a surprise… usually someone always complains about something… not this time. So that, to me is worth a 5 star. Enjoy!

Huge menu here with lots of great options — and really good prices as well.
I ended up getting a double cheeseburger and an order of cheese fries. The cheese fries were great — a huge order of fries smothered in cheese sauce. The burger was pretty good — double beef, double cheese, with lettuce, tomato, mayo, ketchup, mustard, and pretty cheap. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back if I’m in the area.

No biscuits? At a fried chicken joint? That’s just crazy.
Positives– meaty chicken, low prices, accepts credit cards, fast turn around
Negatives– chicken lacked seasoning, fries had no seasoning or salt, Mac n Cheese watery, and no biscuits
Still better than KFC, but not really any better than Kennedy.

Crown Trumps Kennedy. Crown is ripe & rumpish, gets it just right with seasoning, while Kennedy is too oily and skinny-​minny on the meat, maybe even (I dare say) a tad on the spicy though I love spice in general. Anyway I five star this place because the location is as good as it gets, right on the way to Western ave, on a quieter street away from bustle. As good as Crown Fried Chicken in Lynn gets :)
