Decent selection of inventory, however, difficult to find someone for help with merchandise. Eventually I headed over to the golf department where I found Bob who was very pleasant and helpful.

Miss the climbing wall. Always seem to not have enough empoyees on large sales floor. Once you find someone, they are helpful. Had some shoes special ordered from Aurora. It was nice that they had stock

I hadn’t been in a Dick’s for so long. I usually just order online. Today however I needed something by tomorrow so I had to go in. I went right at opening and was the only one there. The store was quiet, empty and still neat and put together. I actually enjoyed browsing a bit. Whether it is because Dick’s website is bad or because there is just so much merchandise on it going into the store now and then is a good idea I think to see things. The displays in store are actually pretty good and Dick’s is a store where feeling or «trying out» something in person might be a good idea. I will have to stop in here a bit more. This is in a quiet party of Legacy so unless there is some event going on you can always get a close free spot right by the door.

Large, 2 story store that has everything! Wonderful customer service, but you have to walk since parking is not close. Legacy village, what do you expect?

ok, I’m the type of girl who goes into these big-​box stores and almost has a panic attack because I believe that there is such a thing as «too much selection». After spending 30 minutes trying to find a decent pair of shorts for Unilocaler M*$%, he finally made a decision and we headed upstairs to look at tennis rackets. Picked up a frisbee on the way up the escalators for when this wind finally dies down enough for us to play a bit!
So, up the escalators we go AND… there’s more shorts… for the LOVE of Fracking G*%!! But, he finally got the shorts he wanted and we wound up grabbing a couple of cheap tennis rackets and a can of balls (he he… ballz) for me to learn the game.
Wound up walking around the upstairs section for a bit, despite their attempts to specialize in pretty much everything, what happens is that they become pretty mediocre in most sections (except guns, but I don’t know much about those). I would go to specialty stores for pretty much everything they have upstairs (rafting/​canoeing/​kayaking, camping, water sports, etc, etc) because their selection, while wide, is not very good. Their hiking shoes for women were sparse and you would probably be better off heading to a running store to get some running shoes and get properly fitted by someone who knows their stuff.
I will say that I’ll probably be back to pick up some golf clothes though, because they had some pretty cute shorts and shirts there… but really Lance Armstrong, do you have to put your name on everything? You were a cyclist, what the hell do you know about women’s golf shirts?
