I’ve been going here pretty regularly for a while now since we moved to Lynchburg but recently they’ve decided to start charging for things they did not use to when we first started going. I didn’t mind paying more than chain pizza stores for pizza as long as we could get a few sides of sauce and ranch for free with the pizza. It made sense to me. I mean we are regulars after all. But no, they decided at first to charge 25 cents for a cup of ranch. Now its 25 cents for every single side. This just pissed me off to be honest so I’ve decided we’ll no longer be going here as to not support these kinds of shady business practices. Good luck raising your prices weekly I guess, but its not the right way to treat customers and you’ve lost a loyal customer forever now.

You’d be hard pressed to find a place that can give you a better value for food and drink in Central VA. After two visits, this place has already become my go to for pizza. Go try it out!

Today I mistakenly bought the giant pizza my wife was mad at me She thought I spent 33 $ dollars on a large pepperoni. She tried to cancel it and they said it was done already so she went to pick it up she laughed it was so huge she had to lay the seat in the mini van down to get it home. It is called the Giant. Worth every penny.

This is our new go-to for pizza night. Classic, giant New York-style pies covered in flavorful pepperoni and a solid quarter-cup of grease, eaten off of paper plates(the good kind: wax-coated), and baked by a college kid in a beat-up ballcap. Not crowded, not dark, and not noisy, with a couple of pool and foosball tables in the back for after you’ve had a couple dollar PBRs. Nice outdoor seating area for when the weather gets nice. And, to top it all off, your first two cups of ranch dressing are free. Two thumbs up.

This is the best pizza I’ve had around here. Do yourself a favor, skip the chains and try them out

What I refer to as «New York folding pizza». You know, you fold it together when you eat it, just like Brooklyn. It’s good, it’s cheap, it’s fast. $ 3.50 craft beers doesn’t hurt a bit either. Best in Lynchburg for this style of pizza.

We recently moved to Lynchburg. We were told that JoJos was the best pizza in town. It was ok. The crust was a little limpy and soggy. Definitely not the best but ok for a pizza craving.

JoJos is the best pizza I’ve had in the Lynchburg area in the three years we’ve lived here. The deep dish style is extravagantly rich with a sauce that is just the right blend of sweet and tart. The cheese is perfectly balanced and the toppings are always top quality. The salads, especially the chef’s salad are much better than average. The delivery is fast and courteous and the pizza was hot and fresh. I havent been there to eat on site– so can’t comment on that.

My wife and I go here on average twice a month. With a plethora of pizza joints in the Burg, nothing beats JoJo Pizza. With most chain pizza places, you get thick crust and subpar toppings, But here all the crust is thin and the selection of toppings are great, it’s terrific to have a nice local pizza joint to go to. We have also had their calzones which were extremely filling. While you can get a cheaper pizza from a chain place, you are also paying for a cheaper quality of ingredients and only for a few dollars extra, you can get a delicious pizza and support the local economy.

I am Italian and originally from Philly and have been looking for a place that has good Italian New York style pizza. Some how it took me a year to discover JoJo’s. It is by far the best in Lynchburg. If it was in Philly it would get 4 stars just because there are so many places like it. However in Lynchburg, to me, there is no place that comes close to it, so it gets five stars from me. It is way better than La Villa and Vinny’s. A ton of flavor, great sauce, and a nice thin crust. They crush fresh tomatoes and roll fresh dough everyday. They even get their meats from New York. Yum Yum! It is now my go to Pizza place.

The pizza is bangin and cheap. They get their pizza sauce and cheese from New York. What more could you ask for? The people are very nice too. Definitely one of the best spots to hit when you’re on a budget.

Unfortunately, I have to give share an unfortunate experience. I liked the pizza alright… after they actually remembered to make it. They must have lost the ticket or something, which happens. The thing I didn’t like is that they didn’t try to make up for it all besides a ‘sorry’. Add that up with poor décor, no servers, and paper plates, and I learned my lesson.

Pizza was soggy from so much grease. Bad customer service. I have been there twice and will never be going back.

I like JoJo Pizza. It’s just ghetto enough to be quaint and the pizza is a reasonable price. We have ordered from here twice – once a carry out and the other time dine in. In the vein of quirky, their building is just so… rigged up… that it’s kind of cool. There’s no real décor and there’s a pool room that looks like it’s never used or just used after hours by the owners and their friends. Plus they have a giant pizza and they have decent beer(i.e. not just Coors and Bud). I like the locality and prices so I’d probably eat here again for sure when I want a local pie. I’ll have to try the other selections and re-review as well.

You can tell a lot about a pizza place by ordering their plain cheese. This pizza is delish! I am now a loyal customer.

The absolute worst pizza I’ve ever eaten! I can’t believe there are positive reviews for this place. The pizzas that were delivered to us were horrible. The quality of ingredients and the lack thereof was disappointing. I couldn’t taste a drop of sauce and the crust was thin and flat along the edges. I would take a Digiorno any day over this garbage. I can’t believe they have the nerve to charge these prices for such lousy pizza! I can’t see this place staying in business much longer.

Good NYC style pizza. They do calzones and salad, typical pizza-joint food. Also have beer.
