This is definitely the best sushi in Lumberton. The fish is not frozen like some of the other places and not everything is fried or grilled. I definitely recommend it.

I love this place. I’m a local and this by far is the best Asian restaurant. Other Japanese restaurants are not even close. And the atmosphere is very pleasant and pricing is reasonable. Would highly recommend this place.

I’ve visited this restaurant for the first time in October 2015 after seeing the Unilocal page and I’ve made several orders since before leaving a review. I’ve ordered the walnut shrimp, volcano roll, California roll, eel cucumber roll, hibachi shrimp chicken & steak entrée. My favorite is the volcano roll and the walnut shrimp was good. Best ginger salad dressing I’ve ever tasted and not watery. The miso soup has tofu, scallions, etc. and not just broth with five pieces of veggies like typical Japanese restaurants. Decent prices, high quality food and prepared with love. I’m no stranger to bento boxes so I’ll try theirs and I can’t wait to taste the tempora. I hope they have sweet potato/carrot tempura. Cute inside. I love the entrance, bar, an clean bathroom with wavy tiles. I’m still in disbelief this place is in Lumberton.

Excellent! Husband had Sesame Chicken & I had Walnut Shrimp. Dinner started with soup: Egg Drop & Mushroom along with Crab Puffs (a/k/a Crab Rangoon). All portions were more than generous! Two complete dinners for less than $ 29.
