I’ve been to the Loft three times in a week! That is how good it is. The Loft has a wide variety of beers on tap, excellent chicken wings(Everything was my favorite), delicious cheeseburgers, fresh cut french fries, and enormous grilled chicken sandwiches in a variety of flavors.

Yummy food and generous serving! We love the beef brisket and bacon cheeseburger we ordered. I requested them to cut my burger into half bec I am not that hungry and I want to have the other half for to go. But I was surprised when they served it, I got extra fries… oh btw, don’t miss out their fries! So so delicious. I read on some reviews that the fries were reheated but it is not. It just look like it bec on how it was cooked and sliced but it is not reheated fries. You’ll not regret it.

First time in five years I have EVER been disappointed in the food… Which says a lot… We eat here every time we are at our vacation house. Nachos were good as usual. Ribs were almost burned, but not falling off the bone like I would expect. Fries were soggy, may have been reheated, because they tasted like they were cooked in old oil NEVER had food like this at the Loft before, including last week. Should have stuck to the Pulled Pork, or the Philli chicken cheese wrap, which are delicious I will return. Everyone is entitled to a bad night.

Great food, generous portions! No free refills on soda though. Cool atmosphere! Very authentic. Awesome bar area. Seat yourself. Loft seating. Game area for kids on third floor.

Small, casual place for drinking beer and having comfort food. Food is not bad at all. We were there with a large group. We got cheese nachos, fries, wings, grilled shrimps, and burgers. Everything was quite tasty actually. Grilled shrimps were the best out of all — perfectly seasoned and grilled on a skewer. A bit spicy but good.

We went to this place twice in a weekend. It’s so, so close to the okemo base lodge– maybe a 3 minute walk. They have like 20 – 25 beers on tap for a reasonable price($ 6 – 8) and the food was great après ski fare. Loaded nachos, huge sandwiches, poutine. Having lunch here is cheaper and more comfortable than on the mountain(not as busy). Highly recommend it!

Our favorite place to go after a day of skiing! The bartenders are awesome(Robin and Drew especially), the food is delicious, and they have a bunch of beers on tap(even for us gluten free people!). They actually tapped a beer we were craving even though it wasn’t supposed to be on tap for the night. I highly recommend checking it out… but leave a couple bar stools open for us!

Don’t even bother going anywhere else. I f*cking love this place. It’s everything a snowboard bar should be period. Any complaints about this place are bullshit. The water tastes bad — who cares, don’t be a pussy and drink beer instead.

This place is your perfect mix of tourists and locals. I visited Okemo mountain during the off peak ski — just past peak foliage season. I can tell that this place is BUSTINGATTHESEAMS when it is peak ski season. It is a «lived in» bar for sure. I’m positive that everyone that lives around Ludlow goes. If it’s open, that parking lot has cars in it. It would not really be a go to spot for me as it is sports based — but it’s a good dive for sure. We were greeted by a kind and welcoming bartender by the name of Robin. She pours a mean Maker’s & Gingah let me tell ya! Nice and stiff and ICE cold. That is my kind of woman. She also went out of her way to make us a list of places we must try — very sweet of her. Drinks were great great great!!! We happen to go in late. It was not our intention to order 20 minutes before the kitchen closed and it was completely fine. She even spent time with us and suggested things on the menu — we felt welcomed by that. We ordered the cheesiest cheese burger to split because we wanted to leave room for more drinks. The burger came fast and it was just delicious! You can absolutely tell that the cow lived up the road and was cared for perfectly to end up right in between that fresh fluffy bun! Never frozen beef. That goes without saying. The fries were good. My companion liked them more than I did — but they did have my hands returning to the mountain for another. The juke box — AHH the juke box. This is always my scene. I love to throw in a 20 and go to town. Not at all impressed with the song selections. They had the bands that I wanted but not all of the songs. I thought that these things were unlimited?! There isn’t an actual CD spinning in there. It was odd. After the food was gone we found ourselves looking at the exit. It isn’t a place I would want to spend an infinite amount of time — but I did like it and I will go back the next time I am at Okemo mountain lodge.

I visit year round. The food is always great. If it is busy I know service can be slow. On those times I wait for a seat at the bar. Not a solution for all but understandable.

Came here 2 nights in a row after a week spent in Ludlow and the first night the owner took our orders and made our drinks and everything was great, the second night we came back and sat at the bar and both bartenders seemed to have a stick up there ass. Very rude when asked for cocktails, and just seemed uncomfortable with serving anyone who wasn’t a local. Ask for Tom.

I hate to rain on the parade of positive reviews here, but this place is at best average, and at worst terrible. We went upstairs to the 7 tables served by one waitress. A woman up there said to have a seat wherever and she took our order when our waitress did not show up. The beers came up reasonably fast and were good, the food took a long time. We got a burger, and pulled pork. The burger purports to be the cheesiest burger, but it had one piece of cheese, and was a below average Sysco commodity burger. It was dry. The pulled pork had no BBQ sauce and it took a while to get the attention of the server. She finally brought up some BBQ sauce. We asked for our check but 30 minutes later no check. We wanted to get out of there. I kept trying to flag the waitress down after about 20 minutes but she was completely disregarding us. Finally I stopped her and said listen if we do not get our check I am walking out of here. I have never had to get to that point. She gave us a check and probably not expecting a tip said thanks for being patient(I guess getting upset after 30 minutes is not being patient there). Still I realize it is not her fault they understaffed the place during a snow storm where they should expect more people to stick around for the powder, so left $ 10 tip. To her credit she was hustling up and down the stairs, and I feel a bit bad for losing my cool. We are season pass holders at Killington but we have a house in Ludlow so we figured we would check this place out due to Unilocal reviews, but it really looks like and has the quality of most places in the area(mediocre) Killernys has bad service too but the food is much better so if you are looking for a pub meal I would recommend that. Massively overrated even before poor experience. Being that you guys are at the base of a freakin ski slope staff more when the skiing is good! You get more business!

Tom’s Loft Tavern is one of the best Apre Ski spots I’ve been to in the northeast. That’s kind of not saying much because so many mountains in the East are lame and completely lacking in a good apre experience, but this place delivers exactly what one needs at the end of a long day of shredding: tasty bar food and copious selections of beer. Their food selection is quite impressive. There’s just about any type of bar food that you could want here. I was by my lonesome so I had to work with something that I could finish on my own so I ended up getting some of their«atomic» hot wings. I love spicy hot stuff, and these were tasty, but nothing to be scared of. I washed it all down with the few beers they had left on the last day of the season, but usually it looks like they have a solid selection of Vermont and nationwide micro brews. This place is a true Vermont experience, and I will make a point to stop here any time I come to Okemo. See you next year guys!

Conveniently located near the base of Okemo Mountain, this has become one of our regular post-mountain day haunts. It’s everything I expect from VT. Boston sports memorabilia all over the place. Stickers and patches on the walls & taps. The wood floors warped from years of spilled beer. Huge portions of pub fare, and a jukebox that garners much scrutiny… so watch what you put on. They always have some great beers on tap, especially local brewers. You can of course get the usual Bud/Bud Light if you want as well. If it’s a mixed drink you prefer, watch the pour. They are heavy handed here which can be good or bad. I’ve been on either side of that throughout my years of coming here. All drinks are reasonably priced and served pretty quickly even though the wrap around bar can be 2 – 3 deep when really busy. As I said the place has a wrap around bar… well sort of. The front bar area is a kind of L-shaped although the first section isn’t as good as the second. So be sure to come all the way in when you arrive. The bar continues on the opposite in a separate room. it is a bit cut off, but offers additional space and a few high-tops if the front bar is too packed. Frequent pee’ers beware though. Sometimes it gets so crowded that getting out of those high-tops is quite the task. The front area also offers decent amount of tables if you don’t want to be up at the bar. There is also open space in between that fills up pretty quickly with patrons and fast moving servers. The upstairs area offers the bare necessities in restrooms and more tables, esp if you are a bigger party. We primarily come here for the beer and the atmosphere, but have eaten a lot of their food over the years. The portions are huge so be ready. The turkey reuben is awesome, but can’t top the one at Killarney. The nachos served on parchment paper will serve up to 4 people, unless you haven’t eaten all day. They have ok French onion soup and the wings are decent as well. I think if you don’t expect much(except size) with the food, then you will be happy. This isn’t fine dining people. Plenty of places on Main for that.

Maybe it was the awesome Unilocal reviews. Maybe it was the eight hours of hard skiing that got our appetites worked up. Maybe it was the euphoric air of wings and BBQ you could smell all the way down Okemo Mountain Road. I’m not sure what it was, but we seemed to be hypnotically drawn to Tom’s Loft Tavern for some après ski food and drink before heading back to NY. My friend and I split an appetizer and two sandwiches, and had more food in front of us than we could have ever imagined. The Thai Sticks(pic: ) are marinated in a curry sauce and grilled, served over lettuce with a chunky peanut sauce with just the right kick. Sticks were juicy throughout… for grilled chicken, as good as it gets! My friend ordered the pastrami reuben( ) and I ordered the pulled pork sandwich( ). Both were scrumptious, but her Reuben was definitely easier to pick up and eat, whereas mine was more of a fork and knife ordeal… thank goodness we grabbed utensils! Thankfully, we ordered our food to go(shoutout to Jeremy for getting our order out quickly so we could catch a ski bus back to NY!), because this place was PACKED right after the slopes closed at 4pm. As other reviewers have noted, Tom’s loft is very cramped inside, with lots of corridors and not a single large open room. The difference of 10 – 15 people on the main floor can transform this place from totally dead to completely jam-packed, so either go early and claim a table, or try to stop by during less busy times. You can’t fault such an old, quaint building for being so small and cozy, but be warned, this is not built for crowds like a base lodge or anything. Despite all this, the food was sublime, and even though Okemo’s on-mountain food options are pretty decent, I’m glad that we waited till we were off-mountain for our main meal… it was AWESOME!
