Sammi’s Sandwiches

Try their half-​chef salad and a lemonade. All ingredients including croutons and dressing is home made. Service is always excellent and I am a regular!

Super fresh meats, best pastrami I’ve ever had! Potato Salad excellent. Chicken Cordon Bleu was very good, except the cheese all leaked out or they forgot it. Salads & dressings fresh and excellent! Best deal in town, for $ 10 you get a dinner entrée, salad, roll, butter, drink and dessert!

Great sandwich and great service! Will be back every time I’m in the mode for a great sandwich!

This was the worst sandwich I ever had. You could tell that everything on it was store bought including the bread, it was so cheap it had no flavor at all almost.

That location has seen several eateries and Lower Lake is a tough little town to have a business.
The owners are very attentive and work hard to listen to special requests. The service is fast and the selections are varied enough for all tastes. It’s a bit campy in there with dated décor but seems clean and with such few choices nearby, Sammi’s is a great choice for a quick meal.

Had dinner there last night! Such a bargain (10.00) for a complete dinner and each part of the meal was great! After a spectacular dinner talking to the owners I requested a menu to hand out to travelers when they are looking for a good place to eat. I saw a pear salad on the menu and asked if they thought it would be okay tomorrow for lunch if I bought it then… it sound scrumptious. They offered to deliver it to my work and did. I just ate it and it might be the best salad I ever had. I make great ones but serious if was beyond good. Recommend highly. I gotta get back there and try some other items. Owners are super nice too.

This place was recommended to me and I’ve visited it twice so far.
I visited one day, 8÷13÷14, after Tom A. reviewed it. I’m sorry he had a poor experience. Restaurants do have their off days, but complaints about «charging extra to get juice instead of soda» are out of line. Juice costs the restaurant more, so they charge more!
I just had a sandwich on both days. They had a large number of «extras» to put on, about half of them without an extra charge (which is reasonable!). My sandwich was delicious both days, and prepared in just two or three minutes. They were quick!
All prices were very reasonable, and if you’re into cupcakes, they have some delicious (it was reported to me) cupcakes. (I don’t eat sweets).
Mostly, I want to say the staff is extremely friendly and seem to seek to do their best and serve their customers well. One of the owners came to me as I was finishing my sandwich and asked how it was. His manner was genuine and I could see he really wanted the customer to have the best experience.
This will be my go to place for lunch when I am in the area.

I tried Sammi’s for the first time and unfortunately the last. To begin, they were out of BREAD! All they had was little slider rolls for the sandwiches. The potato salad was luke warm and soupy. Very unappetizing. And lastly Sammi’s is another place that charges you extra to get juice instead of soda. The staff was friendly but extremely underprepared.

Refreshing oasis on a sunny July day. Delicious food. Clean bathroom. Cold drinks. Good memories of Lower Lake :)
