Lowell House Of Pizza

Food:
Pretty standard pizza.
I ordered a sausage pizza «George Style» just to see how it would come out. I thought I got the wrong pizza when they brought it out, because it looked like cheese only. However, under the cheese was the sausage. The crust was a little too crunchy for my liking, and the sauce was pretty generic. I did like the presentation and the portion/​price though. Yes, it is greasy pizza, but not the greasiest I’ve seen. Nothing a few napkins won’t fix.
Atmosphere:
It’s a pizza shop. Not much to expect. Seats about 12 people, nice things to look at on the wall.
Staff:
It looks like a family business because everyone kind of just does their own thing.
Final Thoughts:
I would come back here, but not before trying out other places in Lowell. Broadway Pizza is right around the corner.

Lowell House of Pizza is a neighborhood pizza shop which offers George’s style pizzas and their own original recipe pizzas (Greek style). They also serve up calzones, syrian bread pizzas, grinders, gyros, salads, pasta, chicken, kabobs, steak tips, seafood dinners (haddock, shrimp, scallops), and appetizers. The prices are fair, most individual items priced $ 6-​$ 10. However, due to rising supply costs, some items have added charges including George pizzas ($ 0.75-$ 1.00) and seafood dinners ($ 2.00).
I stopped in here recently, intent on ordering a George’s style pizza. However, I decided to order a 16″ Large Steak Pizza (Lowell House recipe instead) ($ 10.95 plus tax) since «steak» was one of the few toppings not offered on a George’s style pizza. The pizza was ready in about 20 minutes after I placed my order. I read the Lowell Sun and the sales ads to pass the time.
The pizza was a little greasy and had a firm crust (a bit dry) with crispy edges, a good amount of sauce, finely shaved steak, and melted (browned) cheese on top. The steak pizza was A-​OK and tasted pretty good and the crust had a slight sweet taste too.
Next time I stop in here, I will stick with my original plan and order a George’s style pizza with sausage and peppers.
