2nd time at Tano and not very good for the money. $ 20 entrees… fish was over cooked talapia with a few sprigs of asparagus, which were over cooked. Scallops were over done and small…3 for $ 28. Just not a value or fine cooking for the money.

Love love love Tano’s! Went in the other night with no reservation the chef treated us like special guests! The stuffed salmon was to die for and the service was on point! Bravo! Bravo!

Bistro bite night. Mussels, charcuterie, shrimp scampi pepper, beet salad. Good wine. Good desserts. Great service.

I had been to Tano’s about a year ago, and we revisited again when we found ourselves in Loveland around dinner time. Their new menu — «bistro bites» is fantastic! I love that you can still get an entrée if you are really jonesing for a big meal, but you can also choose the bite menu, try several different things, and probably save a few bucks as well. We had the charcuterie & cheese to start — obviously the priciest item on this section of the menu, but the size of it was massive! Great selection and accompaniments. Then we are shared the shrimp scampi stuffed pepper(unbelievable flavor), eggplant parm(great portion for $ 4), and the cobb salad(very nice). Definitely recommend the new menu — great service as always, too!

I used Tano Bistro & Catering for a birthday party — the weekend of Thanksgiving no less! I wanted a special menu and Sam was eager to help, she was very patient with me changing few things around, and my panicked phone calls. The food was awesome, my guest are still talking about the«perfect» Prime Rib. Gretchen and Cobb pulled of a the perfect evening, thank you all for making my birthday celebration such a great night!

Food was ok. Pasta was hard, either under-cooked or under the heat lamp for too long. Service was great. For the money there are a few other places I would rather visit.

Really nice little place. The food was excellent. I had the meat and cheese app, a salad, and the chicken roulade. All the food was outstanding. Service was also top notch. My server was great! Would definitely go back if I lived in the area.

I visited Tano for the first time recently and it was very good. The atmosphere is nice but still casual enough that people were wearing jeans and shorts. The food was good. We started with the meat and cheese platter which had a great assortment of cheese, sausage, olives and crostini. It was good but I felt it was a little overpriced. I had the braised pork verde. The pork was well cooked and the corn salsa that came with was really good. My wife had the chicken roulade which was also really good. The menu was somewhat small but had some good variety. I definitely will go back to try some other dishes

Normally my review of Tano would be AMAZING. My friend and I usually have brunch on Sundays and Tano is on our normal rotation. We love the area and the food is usually pretty tasty. We were so disappointed this time that we will probably remove it from our normal rotation for a while. We were early for our 11:15 reservation so we decided to wait in the bar area and enjoy a mimosa. We asked for bread since we were starving and it seemed that we inconvenienced the bartender since she stated it world take a bit since they had to put it in the oven. Needless to say we never got the bread. Once seated we waited for our drink order to be taken. The restaurant at that point wasn’t that busy. On the main dining side were 7 occupied tables. It took a while to get our food. Seemed much too long for pancakes and bacon. Once our food came we were disappointed because the pancakes were dry. Usually not the case… I order them once a month. So I asked the waitress for more syrup and told her they were dry. She responded«no they aren’t. they are just extra fluffy and absorbed your syrup» I replied«No, they are dry». I also asked for a glass of ice because my tea had none. She brings me a small coffee mug with ice in it. At this point my friend and I were just OVER our experience and ready to go. Like I said… normally the food is right on. Not sure who dropped the ball this time. We are still a fan of Tano just wont be going back for a bit. Time to try other restaurants.

Being foodies, I’m shocked Tano Bristo flew under my wife and my radar. We first saw the restaurant while on the bike trail. We ate there, tonight, for my birthday. Seldom have we been blow away, eating out, as we were tonight. Not to bore you with what we ordered — it would not have mattered. Every dish passing our table looked amazing. Our dinners were amazing. The food, the service, was spot on. If you’re in a rush to get in and get out, this is not the place for you. Going home, my wife said«I prefer Tano to Jack Ruby’s restaurants. Nothing more needs to be said. Go there now and often.

This was a great find and I am glad my wife and I went. Parking was tricky if you aren’t familiar with the neighborhood. We started w Pork Nachos, which were amazing. From eye appeal to flavor, this was super yummy and stifled our small talk as we directed all attention to this dish. We split a beet salad which was also very good. My only complaint is it could have used more dressing, and I do not like a lot of dressing on salads. I got the duck and my wife got the chicken roulade. Both were good dinner portions that were complex and delicious. I spent my time trying different combos. The chicken was super tender and juicy. All in all, this place is notches above so many others. Go check it out.

Nice fine dining with tasty options and a great atmosphere. The restaurant is in the nice walkable area of Loveland which makes for a nice place to be before or after dinner. I had the Natural Chicken Roulade(breadcrumb encrusted, brie, almond, grape & prosciutto stuffed, peas, carrots, mint rissoto) and the house salad it was absolutely delicious. The service was a bit on the slow side.

We love Tano. The owner is in the kitchen and it shows. Try the tilapia on the Spring Menu. It is delicious. Fish tacos are great for lunch. Full bar with great cocktails and a good wine list. We like to sit at one of the high tops in the bar looking out the window overlooking Loveland Avenue.

Was here this morning for a business brunch meeting. If you park right across the street at the street parking, know that you only have an hour. But anyway, I was pleasantly greeted and quickly taken to a table for 2. Where we were sitting(right around corner on the left, as you walk in), it’s not the best place to have conversation, because you are pretty close to tables around you, and you can hear everything. Hopefully there’s more private seating deeper in the restaurant. For 2 brunch entrees, 1OJ and 1 coffee, the bill came to $ 24.02. That is actually reasonable for the amount and taste of the food. Everything was excellent, and the portions were large. My colleague ordered coffee, and they were right on top of keeping it filled. The service was excellent and professional. We both ordered the«Sunday Breakfast», which came with 2 eggs made to your liking, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 slices of BIG toast, potatoes, a side of fruit, and a salad. We both asked to not get the salad; the salads were«lunch-type» salads; that didn’t seem to go right with my breakfast. But also, that’s a ton of food! The food came out in a perfect timely manner, and it was presented beautifully. I usually take pictures of my food, but not when I’m at a business meeting! But my eggs were perfectly poached. Everything as delicious. They were quick with the bill, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a very nice atmosphere, with excellent service and excellent food. Highly recommended.

Took a large family group here and everyone seemed to enjoy thier food. Really was fairly good. We had crab cakes and flatbread which were delicious. I would skip on the meat and cheese tray next time. I ordered the southern chicken, which was mediocre to me. I would go back but try something else or just stick with appetizers. Nice atmosphere and location for a dinner date. Great service too! Went again on 4−26−15. Had the stuffed peppers with buffalo ranch sauce and fresh oysters which were both awesome. Splurged for dessert by having crème brule and a chocolate flourless torte which were both delicious.

A dinner date with our friends from San Francisco finally gave me a chance to eat here, and I regret I didn’t check it out sooner. The maître’ d was great and the service was way, way above average. Food we selected was a cheese and meat board(15 bucks) and we shared a salmon grilled, stuffed with Brie and crabmeat, over rice, for 23 bucks. It was very good to say the least and a bargain to add to the pleasure of our friends and a great meal. Highly recommend this place, another Loveland gem. Situated right by the bike trail, it has a 3-season patio to partake of the sights.

I had not been to Old Loveland for many years, and a coworker leaving the company had suggested it for her going away lunch. I had no idea what to expect, although I had always loved the charm of Old Loveland, so figured I was in for a treat. We were seated outside under large umbrellas to have our meal, and I was surprised to see table clothes and formal setup on the tables. I figured they would have nothing that I’d be a fan of, because I’m not usually interested in hoitey toitey flavors. Call me a food heathen, but it’s true. I’d take a Mc Donalds burger over a Fillet Mignon any day. I ordered the BBQ sliders because I figured that was pretty normal in the scheme of things, and HOLYGOD, they weren’t just sliders, they were freakin amazing. They were so sweet and succulent. The texture was so filling, and I wanted to lick my plate when I was done. I’m not even kidding. They gave me a salad with my mean, and even that was great. I literally went 3 times that week after trying it the first time. I can’t get enough of that place, and I don’t know what people are talking about with the high prices! Maybe it’s because I’ve only gone at lunch, but good gracious the food quality for that price is astonishing to me!!! It is very well priced in my opinion, especially since I work in the area and spend comparable amounts on lunch at much smaller places with food that is only half as good as Tano’s. I drink water when I go too, so maybe that’s where some of the markup is that people are talking about, but this is a perfect date location. In fact I would take everyone here that I possibly could, my boyfriend, friends, family, some random stranger that needs a pick me up, the crazy cat lady down the street… you name it, and I’d bring them here. AWESOMEFOOD, AWESOMESERVICE, AWESOMEEVERYTHING!!! LOVE!
