Love the location on the Little Miami Bike Trail. The outdoor seating with live music weather permitting is very cozy. I wish they would expand the menu.

Took forever to get our food then we realized why! They were burning it. We were both shocked that whom I believe to be the owners served this to us! We both ordered our eggs over medium… they were equal to a hardboiled egg mashed up. I order toast on the side it was cold and dry… I asked for butter and was brought frozen butter to smear on cold toast to eat with hard boiled eggs! Yuck! The French Toast was ok but cold. The strawberry garnish were rotten! The server asked us «how we we’re doing» not how was the food and since ours was served to us by the people who should care the most, we left and said nothing. $ 10 breakfast! Never again! Did I say YUCK?!

Stopped into Julian’s for their Bloody Mary bar … Was great. They give you the basics and you take it from there. Fresh horseradish, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, fresh ground salt and pepper to start. Garnishes include asparagus, celery, pickles, olives, bacon and more! Can make it exactly how you like it. Food was great … Had the grilled Reuben with fruit … Lots of tvs inside to watch our Cincinnati Bengals win. Highly recommend for a Sunday brunch … They also serve breakfast lunch and dinner.

A solid 4 ½! Only thing holding back a 5 is that I thought it was slightly pricey for a deli sandwich($ 8-$ 10 + $ 2 if you want something other than a small bag of Lays for a side). Anyway.. . We dined on a Friday night and unfortunately, we were in a hurry. The server was very courteous of our time crunch and made sure we were in and out. She even brought us the lunch menu to offer us additional quick options. We had the club sandwich and chicken salad croissant. Both were excellent! We upgraded to a side of mac and cheese — pretty good, but would probably try a different side next time. Can’t wait to go back when we have time to enjoy some of the other menu options, excellent service, and the cozy small town feel of the place. P. S. They have a great outdoor space and advertise«tailgating» for Bengals games.

They have amazing sandwiches and sides. The inside is newly renovated with a nice full size bar. How ever I prefer to sit on the patio right near the bike trail. They have live music and events every once in a while. If your in downtown loveland or on the bike trail stop in and try this place

My parents live in Loveland and are regular patron’s of the various restaurants in their cute little downtown area. We joined them on a summer afternoon for lunch on the patio at Julian’s Deli. The spacious patio overlooks the bike trail and is a great place to relax over a drink and some food after a bike ride. We were all very hungry upon our arrival so we quickly decided to split an order of sauerkraut balls($ 6 for 4). Unfortunately our server forgot to put the order in until our lunch was being delivered, but she quickly brought out an order and didn’t charge us for it. These meatball sized rolls of sauerkraut, pork sausage, and cream cheese are delicious and didn’t really need any of the dressing that was provided on the side. For lunch I thoroughly enjoyed the cobb club($ 9.59) with turkey, bacon, cheddar, bleu cheese dressing on a grilled baguette with lettuce and tomato. The sandwich was large and more than enough for me for lunch. I opted to substitute broccoli for the included chips for an extra $ 2. In hindsight, though this was a tasty addition, I ordered more than I needed for lunch and should have just stuck with the chips. With such a large menu there is something for everyone at Julian’s, including the little ones. My son enjoyed the panini press grilled cheese($ 4.99), which also included chips. Overall the food at Julian’s Deli is very good, however the prices are a little high for a deli style restaurant. Alcohol is available as well, including a couple of draft options. Inside seating is also available, though trust me the patio is where it’s at.

Stopped for a bite and drink after riding on the Loveland bike path from Milford. Great location however food is just so/so. Had bowl of Wisconsin cheese soup which resembled cheese wiz from a can. My sandwich of choice was the chicken pesto pinene. So the chicken is some kind of chicken loaf not a chicken breast that was sliced thinner then the slice of cheese that was on the sandwich. Asked for a spicy Bloody Mary and received a tasteless drink. Better choices in downtown Loveland, we will not be back.

I ate lunch here today as part of a group 0f 18, all individual checks & done well. We arrived about 11:15am so it wasn’t a problem to get seated, and our server Stephanie did a great job! The atmosphere was also very pleasant inside; it was very hot & humid outside so we did not sit there. All of the food looked great, and I’m told it was very good. There is a large menu, but since I’m a Whole Food Plant Based eater(like Vegan, but avoids oils & breads) I couldn’t order the 3 veggie sandwiches, which left me one choice: the KALE salad minus cheese, which was very good! So I hope that they add some no oil /no dairy cheese salads, like a Quinoa Salad, or an arugula salad with fruit & nuts & no oil raspberry vinaigrette, etc. I’m part of a growing group of over 100 members who want to be able to eat out at places that serve Whole Food Plant Based foods — so owners of restaurants take note & tell me about it.

Decent place for simple and quick deli food. Casual with outside patio as well. Can definitely get crowded on warm summer weekends and can be pretty slow. The Turkey avacado ranch pannini was pretty tasty.

The food is very good but just need to be tweaked. They serve a 3 scoop salad plate but you get no bread nor even saltine crackers with the meal. Might be nice if they served it with some bite-sized toasted homemade ciabatta or some pita triangles. I visited one year apart and found the same response from servers. First, a server told me they did not have written beer and wine menu. One year later, I overheard a server say something similar to a table next to me. When the owners are not there, service suffers. I’ll try again, though — since the owners are super wonderful. Also, the atmosphere and the food are very good.

I want to love Julians, I really do. The sandwiches aren’t bad and the location is a gold mine. The service, however is TERRIBLY slow for a menu which basically consists of deli sandwiches. Last night I waited 90 minutes for a turkey sandwich. Our waiter was clearly stressed out and was trying to handle too many tables to handle anything in a timely manner. Unfortunately, this is not the only time I have been to Julians where we have had the same issue. Until they can figure out their staffing and kitchen efficiency, I am going to need to look elsewhere for a fun bike trail eatery.

Love this place! So excited it is open year round this winter! Their chili and cornbread was delicious. I like all the options with the deli sandwiches. My dad has celiac and they made him a sandwich with the special bread he brought from home which I thought was nice. I love their Sweetwater 420 that’s on tap. The waitresses and bartender were all extremely nice and friendly.

Night and day service. Was there on a Saturday, it was packed. Service was prompt and attentive. Three days later, I decide to stop in for a few drinks and do some work, place is dead. Server is more concerned with the two ladies who are at the bat than me. My beer was delivered and that was the last contact I had. I probably could have walked out without paying. That is how inattentive the server was. I had 1 beer… Cashed out and went across the street to Paxton’s. I recommend you do he same.

We ordered the skewers for an appetizer, which were premade and very bland. Do not recommend them. The waitress recommended the chicken pesto panini… bad choice. The cheese was not melted, and I’m not sure if the meat was truly chicken. My dad ordered the pot roast, which was decent. The food was not only disappointing, but there were flies EVERYWHERE. Everytime the bartenders walked out from behind the bar to serve they had mouths full, and were eating the whole 45 min we were there. Our waitress was sweet, but pretty unexperienced in the restaraunt industry. After a long bike ride… this placed definitely killed the loveland bike trail experience. Good thing the beers were cold… We will not go back.

Very expensive for what you get. Grapes, wedge of cheese and some bread = 14.99. Awesome location though. Just will be eating before I go from now on.

Got the Avocado Ranch Panini with Sauerkraut Balls and Caramelized Bacon for apps. The sauerkraut balls were unique and delicious, and who doesn’t like bacon? I got the avocado ranch panini because it is their #1 seller and I now know why — ’twas very good. The owners did an excellent job restoring the building — they still have the original brick walls and hardwood floors. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the servers were friendly. I will definitely be back for the live music on the weekends!

We were passing through and stopped here for dinner. We found the atmosphere superb, the waitresses hot, and the food delicious. The entertainment was not bad either. I will be coming back to this place again.

Ok, the first thing I will say is that I LOVE the patio. The patio is what makes this place, and is definitely why it’s a 3 star rating. When you go here for lunch you will sit out there facing the bike trail, and right now with the leaves falling and this amazing weather, you’ll want to sit out there all day! I had high expectations for this place because I love deli style places with delicious sides, but I’d be fibbing if I didn’t say that I wasn’t a bit disappointed. The first thing is the prices… wow. I think for a meal that is worth the price you can go next door to Tano and have some gourmet fare. My bill was under $ 20 with the tip, but for a deli type of place I was expecting much less for the price.(I also drank water.) I ordered a side of potato salad, and a Caprese Panini. The side came out right away, which I thought was a bit odd. I figured I’d get the side and the sandwich together. I was hungry though so figured, what the heck. Shortly after we got our sides they brought us our sandwiches and laid them on the table… well, they weren’t ours. So she came back, picked them up and took them to the right table. Good thing we didn’t touch them before we realized! I know mistakes happen, but it wasn’t that busy, and for what we ordered I felt it took a pretty long time to get our food. We only get an hour for lunch and we were cutting it super close on time to get back to work before we were late. I have had caprese sandwiches before too, and I wasn’t overly impressed with this one. I would possibly go back for a drink by the bike trail one night, but next time I’ll eat before I arrive.
