This is a great place for fast food. Staff is super nice and friendly. Food is great, although I’m not a huge fan of the smaller fries, they are hard to grab. But the steak burgers are really good. It can be a little loud and hard to hear your number when they announce it to pickup food, but today they had the music at a nice level.

I was in the area and didn’t see many options around and since I only wanted an ice cream I felt this would be an ok option. I got a single(maybe double) waffle cone vanilla chocolate twist. I was shocked how fresh the ice cream was. not half melted by the time I started leaving the drive thru. The waffle cone actually tasted like a waffle. I don’t think I’ve ever had that before. usually the cones are somewhat dry and stale tasting. Not the case this time, I’m not sure if its because this location is new or actually upheld to some standards. I suggest trying this place for the desserts, especially if you like really creamy and heavy ice cream.

Normally, I wouldn’t review a restaurant like Freddy’s because it’s pretty well-known and you know what you’re going to get there. Last night, we took our kids for dinner at the drive thru. When we got to the window, our order seemed to have gone missing. They asked us to pull around and we waited for our food. While we waited we were worried that maybe our order would get messed up too. We had two Type 1 Diabetic kids in the car and just wanted to make sure it was right because they had already dosed their insulin for the carbs we expected them to get. As I walked to the door the manager came out with our food. He was extremely apologetic and I felt like he was personally upset about the mistake. I told him it wasn’t a big deal and he said that it was a big deal to him. We didn’t complain, make a scene, or anything. Voluntarily, he didn’t charge us for the meal. He also gave us vouchers for a couple future meals and desserts on him. My friends — THAT is how you do customer service. THAT is how you own your mistakes and make things right. I wish I had got this young man’s name. He is a rock star and will go far in life with that attention to detail and passion for customer service.
