George’s Gyros and Pizza

Megan, the bartender, was awesome! Great food, great drink specials overall a fantastic experience!

We love Georges! Been coming here for years, service is always great prices on food and drink are better than most. Keep up the great work!

The pizza at this place is the best I’ve had in the state of Colorado, having lived here for almost a year. My group and I sampled the barbecue, gyro pizza, chicken pesto pizza and supreme. The gyro pizza was the best gyro pizza I’ve ever had. Chicken Pesto was delicious as well. The beers were $ 1 during happy hour. Our group left satisfied and full. We had a delightful time and recommend you go for your next group outing.

They shorted us part of our delivery order and then didn’t bother to resolve the issue. No refund, no phone call though both were promised. Though they did offer to let me drive in and pick up the food that they’d forgotten to give to the driver.

They now have an option of thin fries or thick cut fries which is awesome! I love the gyros with the thin fries, favorite dine out meal! Yorgo’s, classic or american they’re all good. Definetely go during happy hour, drink prices are way better.
We also like the gyro pizza!
Still have some work to do on the interrior, empty fish tank still chillin. A laminated, more attractive menu would be a wise investment.

This place makes the best food but they short their deliveries, water down their shots, have the WORST customer service, and don’t stand by their product. Unless you call ahead and pick up, don’t bother. Daddy-O’s down the street will take care of you.

Been here 4 times. Can’t decide good bad bad good. Very inconsistent. Pizza one time top notch next time dough tasted 2 weeks old and stiff burned bread like. Lots of toppings once scant 7 – 8 slices pepperoni the next. Done burgers too. Awesome once next time rancid smelling. Day after the 2fer1 burger deal so guess they had too much meat out. Drinks, sometimes stout tavern style other times watered down Las Vegas casino style.
Can’t find the common denominator whether day of the week who’s working time of day what .
Sometimes this place shines sometimes it’s just plain awful. One more try coming up for the chicago style pizza.
5^th and Final time Service was Pathetic, Pizza was a soggy Mess Not Wasting another meal here !

Service was absolutely horrible. Ate our entire meal with empty drinks. Had to get up to ask our server for more drinks, mayo and napkins. Had to wait at the front door to pay the bill. She Never came back to our table once besides to deliver our drinks I had to get up to order. I don’t blame the wait staff. I blame management for not properly staffing or helping out. You could tell there was a lot of other annoyed tables. The tip tonight reflected horrible service I could of easily walked out but I didn’t and paid the bill. One plus food was good. I work in the industry, it’s pretty simple properly staff and good tips for everyone.

Glad to have a place in Loveland where you can get a gyro. The gyro, itself is pretty good, however Feta cheese on it is extra. That seemed odd to me but wasn’t a big no-​no. However, I would like it if they had a gyro plate with a Greek Salad. Yes, I love french fries, BUT, a Greek Salad as an option would seal the deal for me. Staff is friendly, service good. Nice set up in the old Island Grill location. Certainly good if you want a gyro. Haven’t done their pizza.

Their gyros are very good, however they seem to be a bit pricey. I have never had a bad meal there and when I am feeling like a gyro it’s the first, and maybe the only, place I think of, first.

The salad bar is great, many quality toppings. We also started off with the Greek fries, which were awesome. For entrees we all shared the Italian and Chicken Alfredo pizzas. Pizza was delicious, crispy crust and lots of flavor. We also like the new building that they’re in

We tried it again after a couple bad experiences. Tonight did it. We aren’t going back. We were having a salad bar each and we were splitting the crab stuffed mushrooms. We got our salad and after 20 minutes asked about our mushrooms, the waitress said «oh I forgot to put the order in. They really have terrible service. The burgers are great but there are great burgers other places in town with good service. Too bad we really wanted to like this place but 3 crappy visits are enough. Slow service and waitresses that don’t care.

Food has been very consistent lately. Service has been great. I think they are coming around! Mozzarella sticks are amazing! Pizzas great too!

Ordered classic gyro and fries, decent flavors, but gyro was small. For $ 9 plus cost of fries, way over priced.

Terrible news. No more hot dogs. What the heck. They moved into new space and it is not as nice. This is not good.

Beware!
They have a new location that is just across the parking lot from the old. I use to love the place, they had great food, good beer and reasonable prices… However the new location sucks, the appetizer was undercooked 2 times, food was mediocre at best and service was very poor despite the 8+ employees I could see just wondering around. Every employee in the kitchen had a beard or what you could call a beard for some, but none had a hair net.

Always looking for my next gyro fix and this pizza place makes a pretty good one! Their pizzas are pretty great as well!

Awesome pizza if you are reliving your high school cafeteria days! The gyros are really good. Fried mushrooms are from a frozen food bag. The waitstaff is slow to acknowledge you. All in all a disappointment at best! I will return for a gyro once in a while until I find a better source. Many people seem to love the pizza and I wish I did too but the search continues !!

Let me just start with this. If you can’t deliver people their food in an hour or less don’t advertise that you DELIVER. Hire more drivers Georges! Your food is awesome but its definitely better when it’s fresh and hot and people don’t have to wait over an hour for it.
The gyros are awesome! The pizza is awesome! The people not so much. Sometimes they are very friendly, then they sit two tables away and eat their own dinner while they are still serving you.

The hubs and I are getting ready to move out of Loveland so naturally we are on a last minute spree to sample new restaurants. George’s was our latest venture.
We walked in and it reminded me of a local slightly divey place. In other words, the kind of place we enjoy
I ordered the chicken gyro and the hubs ordered a combination sandwich juicy. I thought both were decent sandwiches and the price was right — about $ 20 with a side of fries. The fries were my favorite part of the meal. Super crispy on the outside, soft on the outside. The perfect fry.
The service was quick and polite. In other words a successful venture at a new local place.
