Great open and cozy spaces with different types of furniture. Perfect for conversations or studying/working. Delicious coffee and chai tea. Easy on and off the freeway without being in the middle of the hub. So why not five stars? I met a friend here after I checked their hours on the web: open til 10pm it said. 20 minutes after ordering the delicious BeeKeeper in a mug, we were told they would be closing in ten minutes(8pm). I mentioned the hours on the web. Worker: «we hear that a lot». I contacted Vint’s via email to point this out but no changes on website and no response therefore the four stars. It would also have been very appropriate for the workers to point this out when I asked for my drink in a mug.

The Bee Keeper. Just go get it. Oh My! So yummy! I love honey and I love this coffee drink. Thanks to Gregory G. here on Unilocal or I would never have known to try it. I’m addicted to that drink now.

I love this coffee shop/wine bar. There are plenty of cozy spaces close to outlets if you need to work, and I can usually take my pick of armchair or table depending on what mood I’m in for my seating. It’s a very roomy place as well, so you don’t feel like you’re inadvertently eavesdropping on your neighbor’s conversation like it feels at some places. I like to order tea when I come here, and both the Raspberry and the Tropical Green are very refreshing, even if they’re ordered hot in the summertime. I haven’t yet taken advantage of the wine bar for an afternoon, but bet your bottom dollar that I will be reviewing that side of this place soon!

I love everything about this Vint. The space is perfect for every type of customer. Cozy corners and couches if you’re bringing a book. Chairs and tables if you’re there with a study buddy. A bar for those who want to watch the game and sip some wine/coffee. A circle of couches if you’re catching up with some old friends. But the real highlight(in my estimation) are the specialty drinks. My wife and I have had three of the specialty drinks and all of them have been splendid. On our most recent outing I got the Beekeeper(blended with ice, per the recommendation of the barista) and it was amazing! She definitely knew what she was doing!

My second favorite coffeeshop in L’ville. The space is *huge* and gorgeous and cozy with a plethora of seating areas(including a bar, a long heavy dark wood table with benches, chairs and small tables for the laptop brigade, and armchairs). I typically get drip coffee or hot tea, sometimes a chai latte. All these things are good. I can’t speak to the more baroque espresso drinks. They also serve wine and beer, and offer half priced bottles of wine on I think Wed evenings. They have some nice-looking muffins, cinnamon rolls, etc. They also have a more expansive food menu including the likes of a cheese plate, hummus, a couple of sandwiches. Lately they’ve been offering breakfast items from Wild Eggs including the signature everything muffin. Wi-fi is free but the outlets aren’t always within reach. A couple of powerstrips would be nice. I’ve never seen it crowded so it’s a great place to get some work done.

I spent three days in Louisville at the Kentucky Center and, based on Unilocal ratings, tried another coffee shop down the street. Halfway through the day, I went across the street to this little gem and had some delicious rooibos tea — the girl behind the counter knew what was in each tea and made great recommendations for what I would like. I went back to the spot a lot and so did everyone at the conference. The Vint folks know what they’re doing, know what they’re serving, and are super friendly and quick. (Also — I’m a soy latte drinker and they never scalded the milk. That’s what got the 5th star.)

Great coffee and snacks, was the perfect place to go when we lost power. I love that Monday-Saturday you can get a glass of wine or a beer! Super cool décor too.

Yesterday, after a long, hot drive through the mêlée that is known as Rush Hour Traffic, I decided upon grabbing some java. Upon walking into this newly refurbished(and renamed) establishment, I was welcomed warmly and served expeditiously. Sitting down with beverage in hand I was able to unwind from the daily grind while enjoying the soto voce sounds of other people’s conversations and non-distracting music. The assortment of beverages at Vint are impressive, as it is not your everyday coffee shop. It is almost a one stop beverage center, without the self-serve soft drink machine. Yummy coffee, a judicious assortment of bottled beverages(including soft drinks) and a wonderful selection of wines from all over the world. And not to be outdone by the beverages, there are tasty morsels as well, all made locally. All in all, I will say that the changes that were made were only touch-ups to a great establishment!!!

I am a iced tea drinker and Vint has a great English breakfast iced tea. Vint is a lovely spot to meet friend, do business or finish that deed restriction. Steven is a super manager and kind soul. Visiting Vint makes my day brighter.

VINT opened yesterday in 5 locations around Louisville. The one at Northfield(right off the Watterson) has been my office away from home for nearly a year, under its old brand. I’m delighted with the upgrades I’ve seen over the past 24 hours with their new brand. Their coffee offerings are superb. I had a VINT Julep yesterday(created with Bourbon Barrel Foods’ sugars) and an Espresso Scone, exclusive to VINT and made by Najla’s bakery with VINT’s espresso. What I love most about this place is the staff. Call me Norm — I’m a fixture there. But even for people who are new to the café, as they walk in the staff gets to know them, introduces their products with an above-average enthusiasm, and before they know it, those customers are regulars too. The ambiance is lovely. Great for breakfast with my toddler, working on my laptop, holding a business meeting or enjoying time with a friend over a cup of coffee, a fresh fruit smoothie or a glass of wine. I have experienced all of these at VINT. I consider this place the Nordstrom of coffeehouses. I highly recommend you stop by. Say hi to Stephen, Kayla, Josh, Marie, and all the other baristas who will get to know you. You’ll be glad you did.
