Thorntons

This location of Thorntons is definitely just gas station with its convenient store, but it is one I frequent, because of it’s location. It seems to be a police hangout, so I always feel pretty safe going here. (Not that I feel unsafe going to other gas stations, but there’s definitely a police presence here.)
For gas, you can save 3 cents per gallon if you use your debit card (with PIN). You can also sign up for their texting list to be notified when their gas prices are going up. Those messages seem to annoy me more than anything else, but it is an option.
Inside, they have your typical fare of items. I don’t drink much coffee, but they have a coffee bar. For someone who prefers lots of flavors and toppings in her coffee when she does drink it, it’s fun to go wild with the different options. They also have Krispy Kreme donuts if you need that fix, plus lots of other snacks, lottery tickets, and so on.
Compared to other things, I’m not sure this is four star, but compared to gas stations, I am a fan. So… four stars for Thorntons!
