If you’re a stoner or flat out drunk, then this is the place for you… However, if you have a reasonable schedule(such as kids or work in two days or minor surgery in 6 months), then go elsewhere. After being an hour late, the driver asked why he received no tip. Clearly, Spinelli’s doesn’t care about their drivers’ supplemental income. On the whole, pizza was decent. Service was about what I’d expect from the high school«NOrML» club. Maybe staying at a hotel and being a transient customer is what got us the terrible service? I know my friends whom we were helping move will not be patronizing Spinelli’s again.

I seriously wish I could give five stars. The food is amazing, it’s affordable, and the delivery is fast. However, my husband and I get extremely sick every time we eat it. Usually we get a Stromboli. Not sure if it happens to anyone else, my personal experience with their food. However it is so delicious going down, just not during digestion or coming out.

Food is a B to a B-, but the person who took my order could use lessons in personality and how to talk to customers.

It is not the best and it is greasy as can be BUT I love it. It is a guilty pleasure and convenient times. Great for after drinking. It’s not clean but the staff are usually congenial. They usually attempt to please you. Interesting to look at if nothing else

This place has the best pie around, the sauce is outta this world, and the customer service is great. Also, by the slice is great for a quick bite for lunch.

Spinellis is my fav restaurant. The food is always hot and so good. The app sampler is probably the most life changing meal I’ve ever had. But I was pretty wrecked when I ate it. Beer is on point and I could probably eat a whole 18 pie by my self. This review is making me hungry. All I can think about it warm greasy cheese sliding all over my eager face. Please mr spinelli do it again. See you before 5 am. Love, the gooey cheesesteak demolisher.

Worst experience ever. Very rude people. Save your time & money. It’s not worth it. Very nasty attitudes. I’m told we were served by Brad. He has a potty mouth & was very very rude. So avoid him at all cost. The other 2 locations are wonderful so we were disappointed at the service we received.

After hearing great things about Spinelli’s, we decided to try it. The flavor was amazing, specifically the sauce and cheese. The crust was the perfect density and texture. The toppings, however, were scant, especially considering the size of the pizza and the cost!!! Plus I see pictures on here from other reviewers and their pizzas have twice as many toppings! I’m not a complainer, but this just exuded poor quality control. It’s the equivalent of sitting guests at a dirty table at a restaurant. We may give it another try down the road, but it’s unlikely since we just paid $ 30 for a pizza that had $ 4 worth of toppings(not including cheese and sauce).

I love Spinelli’s and this is the best location in town! Before I was diagnosed with Celiac, my daughter and I would eat here constantly. We love the white pizza and the traditional pepperoni. You can buy pizza by the slice and the slices are huge! My daughter and I would buy 2 different slices and share them. And it’s a very cheap lunch! It’s a thin, New York style pizza and it’s delish!(I wish they had gluten free options. I can no longer eat here.)

So, Great Pizza. Have had it delivered and it is just outstanding. Pricey, but worth it. Then I stopped in, and the place is dirty, employees seem to have friends loitering, so I waited in my car. Happened twice. Probly a bad habbit. Facility could use a big cleaning and employees could make you feel welcome instead of worrying of loafing with friends. The cleanliness has made me not want to order anymore.

Not bad pizza as far as pizza goes, restaurant was dirty, but employees were nice and friendly, pizza was cold when I got it but it was also 1 am so I wouldn’t have expected much more.

Do you like sauce that is basically sugar? How about a thin crust with the texture of a circus peanut but the flavor of a diaper? Wait… You’re just one person and want a small? Well, eff you cuz they only make’em large, paisano! If you get into this area late at night, this is literally your last resort. But trust me, you’re better off eating a burrito from the dumpster behind the nearest gas station than eating this disgusting excuse for a pizza. And you’d save yourself $ 26 by doing so. Only 1 star because we can’t give them zero.

This is the Mecca of all pizza places in Louisville. Open til 5AM every night is reason enough Spinelli’s can redeem Louisville’s nightlife for me, this city seems to shut down at dark(OK1AM, but that’s still too early!) 90% of the time I eat here I’m slam hammered drunk, but it always satisfies. For the other 10% I’m sober, I’m just as impressed. I often get the Stromboli, which easily allows for leftovers aka hangover food. Or if you wake up still drunk, even better! Raid the fridge for fourthmeal. Quick facts: They deliver. Their taste in music is awesome. and loud. All of the pizzas are delicious. Their side items are excellent as well. You can drink beer here. The dining room is a subway car. All the other locations are just as awesome, this one is just close to home.

It was my first order and found it to be good NY style cheese pizza. I ask them to leave it in the oven to make the crust well done and they did it perfectly. I liked the size of the pie and that it was ready when I picked it up. I will definitely try again.

So disappointed! The pizza was sub-par: soft crust, large slices, monster sausage balls and cheap cheese. It’s like NY style with NO taste nor pizza swag. We also ordered deep fried ores — b/c we have them at state fair. Anyway, theirs were soft and gross. It was a TOTAL waste of time/money.

Took the BMX team there after a big race. Tons of killer New York style pizza a great price. Staff is amazing and super friendly. We called ahead and reserved the train car. Deep fried Oreos, Vegas style, ya gotta get. When ever we race in Louisville, we will stop here for sure!

Every time I’ve been here there is always old pizza and a very apathetic man behind the counter glumly taking my order. Also, it’s not a Philly cheesesteak without onions and peppers on it, you should not have to add those for more. Pepperoni knots were decent, but a bit overcooked and very, very greasy. I doubt I’ll be returning.

Spinelli’s is just one of those polarizing places. There never seems to be any in between. People either love it or hate it. My house loves it. Huge, big as your face, slices of pizza. This isn’t St. Louis or Chicago style pizza, but authentic, east coast pizza that you can fold in half! We’ve never had any issues with toppings! Cheese, sauce, meats and veggies have always been flavorful and customer service at this location is friendly and top notch. We’re regularly patrons at Spinelli’s on Goose Creek, and it is our typical Pizza Joint here in Louisville. We definitely prefer it over all of the chain pizza places, even though it costs a little more, and we have failed to find another local place we like better. Join their text club for occasional text messages with a good deal! We’re talking once a month, and usually it’s a coupon or deal worth jumping on. :) Their meat lover’s pizza is amazing and their mac and cheese bites are a perfect appetizer. Since it seems no one is ever on the fence about Spinelli’s, go in and order by the slice to try them out before you have delivery! It’s definitely worth the try!

Look what we can do, Louisville.* I love coming home to see things changing for the better. I never thought my hometown would offer so many cool food choices and people from all over the country seeking to make their home in the ‘ville. With a new(er) population comes new(er) food choices. Spinelli’s East Coast taste comes authentic from Philly and while I’ll always have a soft spot for ‘ville staples like Za’s, Wick’s and Impellizzeri’s, I’m open enough to see what a newcomer can do. He can do a lot. With gigantic, foldable, NYC-style slices, Spinelli’s offers a nice, chewy crust, savory sauce that isn’t glopped on too heavily and the sweet, slightly hot crumbly sausage that reminds me of Mid-Atlantic pizza options. Brilliant for take out and feeding a group of hungry adults and kids, choose your quantity wisely. You will be able to eat far less than you would think. This pizza is deceptively filling. I would definitely order from here again and am open to trying some more variety from the menu. As I mentioned, the staples are always nice to have during a visit home but even nicer is to see your hometown growing with new and tasty choices. *

Very good New York style pizza. We ordered delivery and stayed safe since this was our first time trying Spinelli’s. We ordered a large sausage and pepperoni pizza with a side order of fries. The fries were a great appetizer and there is a hefty amount of fries served. We had to slow down on the fries, since they were so good, and we still needed room for pizza. The pizza was right on the money. This is a true NY style pizza. Thin crust and wide enough to be folded. We couldn’t finish the whole pizza but we saved some for dinner tomorrow. We don’t usually save pizza for the next day but this pizza is worth saving.

1 major star for the dine-in atmosphere. So unique! 2nd star for the concept as Louisville has definite need for that east coast pizzeria experience and the menu was really diverse(breakfast pizza anyone? Hoagie? Cheesesteak?). The rest of the stars should have gone to the quality of the food but I was not impressed. My pizza slices were definitely foldable, fun! But the crust was tasteless and the cheese sparse. Our cheesesticks were nothing special(at best) and so hot when put right in front of my 6 year old that his finger blistered when his hand brushed the side of the pan. I truly wanted this to be a fabulous experience. It just wasn’t. Maybe you need to be inebriated at 3am to really get the right experience or maybe the east coast set likes their crust to taste like baked flour. Me? I’ll pass.
