The shop is cluttered, somewhat dirty, and everything is about 30% over normal prices.

I hate patronizing downtown gas stations. It’s not a big deal if I’m just getting gas and paying at the pump, but I avoid going inside at all costs. You can’t get through the parking lot without getting harassed by a panhandler, and once you get inside, you stand in line forever.
For this reason, Shorty’z Smoke Shop is my go-​to place for cigarettes and sodas. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they will get you in and out quickly. The store’s clientele is also not your typical gas station lot; most of the customers are regular patrons who work in the area or people staying at nearby hotels.
I only ever get cigarettes or sodas here, but Shorty’z also has a large selection of pipes, cigars, and hookahs, cell phones and accessories, and all types of typical convenience store items.
