Owner not polite in any way. Wouldn’t even discuss negotiating on a price(and it’s not because his price was already very fair or reasonable!!! And spoke negatively about another nearby business who I personally know that he buys from to resale on a regular basis. Several pieces I wanted and had cash in hand to buy… but if I plan to spend 150 dollars on several items you should be willing to discuss negotiations without getting rude. I walked away with nothing because of the poor customer service. If you don’t want to negotiate then pick a new line of work and I’d advise it not be in customer service!!! Selection was pretty good. Place was clean and nicely organized. Prices were moderate high. Regardless will never get my business!!!

I second Michelle’s opinion that the owner was very rude. I wanted an item but got turned off and walked out empty-handed. He seems like a trust fund baby in the sense that he clearly is not interested in business or in working for a living. Examples of his insouciance: had his feet up on the counter; no greeting or inquiry of interest; when I said I wanted to purchase something he simply said to take the tag off; I even felt like he was smirking. There is too much competition for that kind of attitude.

Popped in this past weekend because we needed a living room lamp. We pulled up & I thought uh-oh…because there was some rather unfortunate furniture out front. Then we went in. Didn’t find that lamp but found other stuff we needed for ridic prices(pair of deco swing-arm curtain rods with nice scroll-ey business AND all the hardware for $ 7. Sheesh, right? Lowest I’d seen was $ 22 on eBay minus the hardware & then tack on some shipping). Found a bedroom lamp too. This place is not big. It’s adorable. I wouldn’t go there while looking for a specific piece of furniture because it’s small. It is also not total sensory, junk-store-overload when you walk in(which I appreciate sometimes as it’s not too common) but you still absolutely get that delightful seek/discovery antique shop experience —-which is why we love junking, let’s face it. There’s 2 rooms & then a little bright basement with knick-knacks & kitchen tables. The furniture is nice & very well-priced. All different eras of vintage; Victorian to Deco to Mid-century modern furniture & smalls & all in great shape. Complete bedroom suites, some living room stuff too. The service was very friendly. We were greeted warmly and that was that til we rung up & had a very nice convo about living in victorian homes. I will definitely be going back. I definitely recommend you go to this shop because I think you will like it.

Seems very reasonably priced. Lots of nice things. I personally thought the owner or the older man I assume was the owner was very rude. I purchased a item and want to go back for another but I really don’t want to deal this man again.

Seek & Find is a great place to shop if you are looking for specific unique items. I bought a solid wood cabinet for $ 40. I think it was meant to be a buffet, but I painted it lime green and use it as a tv/entertainment center. I had a budget and looked at several other furniture thrift shops around Lou. None of them had anything like this for the price I paid. I’ve bought some cute holiday decorations and an awesome basket shaped like Kentucky too. They have a ton of stuff in the store! My only complaint is the space is slightly crammed and sometimes I overlook an awesome find!

This place is small, but worth a quick stop. The owner is very kind and seems to have an eye for quality finds, and prices them fairly. In a 15 minute stop, we saw a coffee table, stool, this interesting jewelry box, and more that we considered buying. Overall, good to know it’s a place we can trust to have quality offerings. Will return.

Seek and Find has always been one of my absolute favorite places to shop in Louisville. I take all my friends there who have never experienced it. The prices are fantastic, items eclectic, I hardly ever leave without purchasing at least 1 item. The only reason I give this shop 4 stars was due to my last encounter there. New items were being placed in a new window display and I found a lighting fixture that I have been in search of for years; when I inquired about the price, the gentleman told me it would not be available to purchase until the following week. This particular instance rubbed me the wrong way as I have been a very loyal customer to this shop and thought it was absurd that they were willing to miss out on a sale solely due to it being placed in a window display. I have not been back since(not out of spite, but due to moving away/no longer working in the vicinity of the shop), I still recommend the place to others and have had more enjoyable experiences than non –enjoyable experiences.

This may be one of my favorite antique shop /thrift stores. It is only about 4 rooms(so not an antique mall by any means), but it is full of amazing finds at really great prices. I don’t think I’ve ever left empty handed! It is a seek and find location for some in that it is off of Preston Hwy, in a little strip of neat shops between the Watterson and Eastern Pkwy. Could definitely make for a fun girls’ afternoon hitting them all up. A few of my finds to put their selection and pricing into perspective: 1) an antique wrought iron Fleur de Lis door knocker for $ 6 2) a side table using two beautiful white columns and a simple sheet of glass for $ 29 3) 24“x36″ nice, heavy silver frame with Van Gogh’s Irises in a Vase for $ 10 Okay, I take it back. You definitely shouldn’t go there. You might buy something I don’t know about yet!
