I like Sally Beauty Supply. Until recently, I thought it was only for cosmetology professionals, but they welcome any customer. On this visit(3:30 Saturday afternoon), this location was very busy. It seemed to be understaffed for the number of customers. There was one person at the register, doing a heroic job, and two other employees. I asked one a question as I shopped, and she was very courteous. Her answer wasn’t what I wanted to hear, but I think it was probably correct.(I asked about dying my gray beard with regular hair dye, and she replied that some people do, but she wasn’t willing to offer advice on this. I would do it at my own risk.) The other employee on the sales floor was stocking and made it clear by her facial expression, body language and refusal to look at customers that she wasn’t to be approached. When it was time to check out, there was a very long line. The line was also long when I arrived and when I left. It would have been nice if they had opened the other register to clear the line. On the very positive side, the woman at the register told me about a couple of promotions I hadn’t known about on things I was buying. Anyone want my «FREE» $ 27.00 handbag?
