I was recently contacted by Austin with Quality Heating and Air who apologized for the situation I encountered with them two years ago and mentioned that they are under new management. As the new manager, he explained that he wanted to right a wrong and offered an AC tune-up to me at no cost. With that, I scheduled a visit with them. He came out on a Friday evening and was very diligent in his service. I wasn’t at home for the first hour while he looked at our unit and explained what was going on, but once I returned, he made sure to explain in detail what was happening with the air conditioner. He explained that our unit was comprised of two different systems, one which was very high tech and one which was very old, so we needed a specific piston to operate these more efficiently. He said he would order the part and said he should be back by Monday(2 days later). He contacted me Monday to notify me the part was in and asked if he could stop by at the same time that he did on Friday. He was able to replace the part, showed me where I could find the serial number for the new part, and advised that we shouldn’t have any issues in the immediate future(too bad these things can’t just live forever!). I appreciated that they took ownership of past mistakes and went above and beyond to ensure their customers were happy. This truly shows their dedication to customer service and I’ll be sure to recommend them in the future.
