Great hardware/​everything store. I love this neighborhood store, has just about anything you could want, people friendly and knowledgeable. Stores like this are the kind you can walk into and ask «do you have this thingie that does this?» and they will lead you right to it. Just moved into the neighborhood and Oscar’s will be my hardward place «go to». Don’t let the small exterior fool you, they have plenty of merchandise and its clean. Also has parking.

Genuinely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Don’t be fooled by the shop’s small exterior, they have a large variety of products. After several years of patronage, I have never been disappointed.
They make supporting a local business the only reasonable choice.

My dear sir, you’ve spoken too soon!
Let me explain.
This place is BIG and CLEAN and FULL of your many needs. Hey, I don’t know all your needs, so I’m not going to claim it’s going to meet every one. My needs? Yeah, definitely. Hardware-​wise, that is.
Garden hoes, chain links, and kiddie pools. That’s all I remember. Seriously. But that’s because my mind was blown.
Enter, feast your eyes, and feel the friendly vibes!

Oscar’s epitomizes the value and importance of a local hardware store. I recently undertook the task of building my own dog gate. I am nearly clueless when it comes to home improvement projects, but Oscar’s staff was informative, patient, helpful, and not at all condescending, despite my lack of hardware knowledge! A couple days later, I returned with yet another idea for the gate, and the employee who had assisted me gladly helped me find the tools for my new approach, as well as encouraging me to return the unused materials from the gate’s previous iteration. I can’t stress enough how grateful I am for the help – I never would have gotten this type of assistance and customer service at a chain home improvement store. Thanks Oscars – you’ve got another lifelong customer!
