KFC

Ate here yesterday mid-​afternoon. Chose the buffet. It was about $ 8 with my senior discount. Honestly everything on the salad bar and steam table was just average. No surprises really. The biscuits were old and stale it seemed. There was one dessert– maybe bread pudding. Not sure. The drink was good! So was Cole slaw and cottage cheese. Three stars is generous I think. Don’t believe I will return.

Went through the drive through at 11:04am ticket #1427, waited 8 minutes at the window, when I got my food the potato wedges were room temperature and the sandwich was ice cold, how cold you may ask, look at the pic I posted .
I threw the food out and stopped at white castle.

We went in they were busy and didnt want to deal with us
They over charged us for our meals claiming the prices listed are for dark meat only.
Then they didn’t bother to give us our drinks or half our sides .
Then as we came back in ro get them they were bad mouthing us behind the counter.
Im never ever going back to any kfc do tp this plenty of other better chicken places out there.

Oh, BARF! My partner and I went into this KFC looking forward to sitting down to dinner on the evening of ¹⁄₂₆. They were tearing down the buffet bar at about 7:40, so we crossed that idea off of our list.
We knew there was trouble with the folks in front of us wanted chicken tenders had been rung up for tenders and the manager said that they were out of chicken tenders and they were frozen. My partner and I work in food service so we thought, «aren’t they supposed to be frozen before cooking?»
The manager on duty also seemed to argue with the cashier. She didn’t seem concerned that there were customers in the lobby that could overhear their bickering. We believe there is a difference between resolving a training issue and berating an employee.
When we placed our orders, it went from bad to worse.
My partner ordered the #1 combo, a $ 5 popcorn chicken cup and ordered the three-​piece chicken combo. His popcorn chicken was almost cold and tasted old. Very greasy, hard on the teeth, and looked it was the bottom of the pan after all day cooking. The potato wedges were cold as well. About the only good thing about his meal with the Mac and Cheese. He was unable to complete the rest of his meal because he felt nauseated after picking out some of the sizable pieces of chicken that were «edible».
The counter service was less than stellar as well. After I placed my order, the manager ducked behind the food stand to get something out of the oven and the cashier was more excited about sweeping and cleaning the dining room than serving me. I got my drink and came back to the counter to wait. The manager came up to me and asked if she can get anything and I said, «My dinner». She mumbled, «Robert… really?» and gave me my meal.
My #10 three-​piece chicken combo was less than hot… seriously. The chicken felt like it had been there for a while, the original recipe skin was saturated with grease, was luke-​warm and less than appetizing. When biting into the chicken, it was squishy and not firm and delicious as it should be. I was also unable to complete my meal.
We left this location very unsatisfied, nauseous, and wondering if our meals were worth going to this restaurant. At least the Mac and Cheese and the fruit punch were satisfactory.
We feel this restaurant was a fluke because we get stellar service and food from the KFC off of Westport Road. We visited the McDonald’s down the road to complete our meal from their dollar menu. I never knew McDonald’s tasted so good!

THEY DO BUFFET AT NIGHT. That’s all you need to know. It’s a decent place, clean and everything. The parking lot is a bit shady and messy, so don’t have anything that looks worth stealing in your backseat. I mean, that’s just a good rule in general.

Better variety than my local KFC, with bonus lunch buffet. Still, it is fast food, and the staff doesn’t always listen to your order…
