Don’t waste your time. I walked in and no one said two words to me. Some tatted biker dude was waxing some 5-year old girl’s eyebrows. I sat down and waited. The other barber finished cutting his guy’s hair and then swept the floor and walked out the door. Again, no one greeted me or even acknowledged my presence. Needless to say, I left.

Jay’s was the first barber shop that I tried after the barber who cut my hair for over 15 years passed away. Suffice to say, I’m still going to Jay’s. They offer great service, the waits are slim to none, and you can almost always count on a good conversation every time you go to visit. If you’re from out of town, or new to Louisville, give Jay’s a look.
