Such of an entertaining place with great service and the Dooley pianos were incredible so much and so much more. Nate gave great service and Glenn was great too for a great night. Bobby and curly were great too

Went on a Friday night and had a great time! Best Howl at the Moon I have been too! The entertainers are super talented singing and playing instruments and made sure everyone was having fun! Service was also great– never waited for a drink and they were very friendly!

I had so much fun. There was around 6 people that alternated playing music. I can’t believe the talent i saw from these people. So entertaining and an amazing range of songs. They were all over the place on songs that were picked from old to modern which made it so awesome.

This place is so much fun. I was there for the first time and won a party. The servers are chill and friendly. The piano players will play your song and play it well. Had so much fun! Don’t expect food, it’s all about the good drink, music, and fun! Worth a stop in. You won’t want to leave!

You can feel you are an appreciated customer from the time you enter(yes cover charge) until you leave. You can tell the staff here love their job. Their job is to entertain, and that is exactly what happens, from the on stage performers to the waitresses and security crew. I loved the«pay to put your phrase here» on the mirrors. The performing artists try to accommodate requests from the crowd(that you write on a form and submit… hopefully with a tip). You can register to win a party, which is why I was there, as a guest of someone who won one! The crowd seems to be a good mix of people from all ages and social stature. Great place to people watch! A great place for a celebration… birthday, anniversary, bachelorette/bachelor party, divorce, new job, etc. They have some pretty interesting cocktail options(and sizes), and you can keep the container it is served in for a keepsake. I only had a couple of issues: 1) POSTEDRULE: You cannot move the tables, so our group was spread out and we had a difficult time communicating. 2) There is no food(after the pitiful happy hour offering). However, you can let the waitress know you want to eat and they will get a menu and waitress from Hard Rock Café to come and take/bring your order. I would suggest to the management to come up with some sort of signature snack that people could munch on.

This was the first time my husband and I had been to a dueling piano bar and we had a blast! The server we had was outstanding and always kept the drinks coming! We couldn’t of asked for better service. The piano players were very talented and had us laughing all night. My husband thought the lady singer/piano player lacked in talent compared to the other two players, but they all seemed to play well together. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back next time were in Louisville.

This place is a lot of fun! My husband and I had a great time! Highly recommend! My favorite performance was the girl with the curly blonde and dark hair. She is an absolutely phenomenal singer and performer. She has a lot of energy and knows how to get the crowd going. I also like the guy that plays saxophone because he’s a great pianist and singer and has a lot of energy. We got lucky coming on a Thursday and had no cover charge if we entered a drawing. We ended up winning a gift card from the drawing! There are several performers that rotate to different instruments throughout the night. I’ve never been to a piano bar where people play drums, guitar, bass, and saxophone; I was super impressed by the variety of instruments played and the versatility of the performers. My only critiques: 1) There was one performer who was super low energy on the piano, but rocks out on the drums. I wish they wouldn’t put him front and center because he clearly does not enjoy being in the spotlight and really excels on the drums. When he is on the piano, the energy level in the bar noticeably drops. 2) They ran out of paper towels in the bathroom which were not replenished. 3) We went up to the bar to grab our own drinks all night because the drink server wasn’t very attentive. The bartender was super nice though.

The music was dank at this location. The ambience was too. We sat down to grab a couple of drinks and listen to some music, rather than listen to the country going on outside. The waitress we had was dumber than ever. She came up to us before we even sat down and demanded our drink order, then did it again a minute or two after we sat down. I wasn’t ready the first time, and the flashlight on the menu from my phone should dictate that I wasn’t ready then. The tab was 11.25 for a beer and a sprite. What the hell do you do to your beers? Douse them in gold? It was like we were back on the east coast again. But anyways, all was fine. We rocked out, sang, and people watched for awhile. Later, we asked for a glass of water and she said«well we have bottles.» Well, lucky for you, my husband asked for a glass, not a a bottle. That took forever. Didn’t like the abruptness, stupidity and non-willingness-to-give-water. But, the music was awesome, because of the musicians!

Anyone who doesn’t think they like piano bars is a crazy person. If you like live music drinks and eats what more could you want. It’s like a grown-up drunken sing-along! Drink prices are reasonable and I do not mind paying the $ 5 cover b/c I’m pretty sure it goes to the band. It takes INCREDIBLETALENT to play any/all music and instruments and sing by request for a drunk crowd of crazy people. If everyone in your party drinks Vodka Red Bulls be smart and just order 4 Vodka Rocks with 1 Ala Carte Red Bull and then split it between you. You don’t need more than that and it will save you aprox $ 4/round that you should in turn tip your waitress better for. Go with a group or couples or just a date night and don’t take yourself so seriously. Its a great time!

The best music, the best drinks, the best time! It’s always a good time at Howl and the musicians are amazing! It’s hard to find live music in this area and I love live entertainment. If you’ve never been to a dueling piano bar you’ve got to check out Howl at the Moon on 4th St.

I’ve been going to Howl at the Moon locations since 2008. They are a staple in entertainment and something you have to experience if you haven’t already. These musicians ROCK, and they have the best specials at 4th Street Live.

There’s a reason this place doesn’t have a great rated. When I was there an issue caused the restaurants bathrooms to be unaccessible but they continued on, charging $ 5 cover. I told the manager that having to pay cover and then trek to go to the bathroom was a bit much, but I was perceived to be the troublemaker. You and you’re issues are secondary! The manager here is a jerk!!!

My first time at a Dueling Piano Bar and it was so fun!!! It was my last night hanging out with my friend that I was visiting and she took me to 4th Street Live! On a Monday night, the area was not popping but we still had a great time. The musicians were so talented — they all sang, played guitar, played piano, and drums. AMAZING. Give a little tip and write your request on a slip of paper. They humored me and played Backstreet Boys & Spice Girls. Love it. Drinks were fun too — I had the pink paradise… Yums!

I’m gonna say this up front: my primary reason for the low score, was the bouncer on the night of the Louisville-KU game. Yes, the bouncer. It looks like you have a fun bar. The place had plenty of people. The live music had everyone dancing. The bouncer was INCREDIBLY rude. Not just to us, but to anyone who had a question. Or even walked up. Even a simple request to speak to his boss was met with unbelievable disdain, and an absolute refusal to comply. If he hates his job(and people) so much, he can move to the mountains and be a hermit. I understand bouncers bounce drunks. We were not drunks. We were potential customers, willing to pay for a night of fun. In my 10 years of going to bars, your bouncer was the absolute RUDEST and most contemptuous jerk I’ve ever seen manning a door. You may have a great business model, but that dude at the door absolutely ruined our experience. Next time I am in town, I will not be going back to your establishment. Talk to that gent about his attitude. I’m giving you two stars, instead of one, because I know he doesn’t reflect your whole business. At least, I hope he doesn’t.

We have been to the one in Indy. This was just as fun. We went on a Friday night. It was not packed, but was a little busy. We got there early and got discounts coming early. We had a great time listening to talented musicians.

Went there last night. The manager said they were closing and I convinced him to stay open for another hour with one bartender for the 20 of us that I went with. 15 mins later the manager said they were closing. As I asked him why he changed his mind the waitress sitting on the bar looks at me and said«UNLESSYOUARE F$CKINGONEOFTHEBARTENDERSTHENYOUHAVETOLEAVE» Not a bar I will ever go into again.

Must say, I had an absolute blast here. Pro’s: Amber was our waitress and was on point. In a crowded bar it’s expected you will have times when you dont have any drink left. She didn’t let that happen once. Bravo. Crowd is a pro. All the douchebags were going to PBR like a moth to fire which left us normal folk down at HATM. We got tables and it was worth it. They rolled out the red carpet for us and we had a great spot to chill all night. Con’s: I am from Nashville, so I am picky, but the entertainment was 6.5 out of 10 at best. There were a few pro’s, but also a few hacks that wouldn’t be able to play a McDonalds in Nashville.

First-off, the service was fast. The bartenders were on it. Well done. It was very entertaining to watch people«howl» onstage. There must have been 3 different wedding parties in this place, completely soused, reliving their high school days. The place was kind of small for the concept and so loud it just wasn’t that fun. It is great for groups. Not so great for a date. Typical 4th Street shenanigans.
